We shared a plate of Ayam Taliwang and a plate of Gado Gado. The Ayam Taliwang is spicy but quite dry while the Gado Gado did not have the strong flavor which we are used to. The meal cost Rp90K.

I love Indonesian food, and having it in Bumbu just made the experience more real. The servings were just right for me, but I think for a White person, it may be a tad small.

Bumbu is always bubbling with tourists and one can see why - they serve good Thai, Indonesian and Western food at very affordable prices and it's tasty, unpretentious and fun. Great location smack in the middle of the Senggigi town centre makes it hard to miss. They also provide free transport from one's hotel.

Decent lunch, good service, just a shame the road is so close that everything is loud. Old man moment....Damn kids on bikes!!
