Amazing location

Beachfront restaurant in Senggigi; go at sunset, enjoy the spectacular scenery, and sample the reasonably-priced local food (you can get a beer here too!). You can have a table on the beach or sit in giant beanbags. Famous for its Italian food, but Indonesian is good too. (You can sit inside, but... read more

Try the Calamari Fritti, crispy and great side of homemade mayonnaise. The Tagliatelle Pesto was a bit dense, but the flavor of the pesto was excellent.

Very good food, nice atmosphere and good service. I came back here after the first visit with my family.

Cafe Alberto is at the other end of the beach where the Batu Bolong Hindu temple is. It's got great ambience and a good place to watch sunset by the beach. Quality of food is good - we got both the local and western (pasta) dishes. Prices are quite high - similar to Bali.

First of all they pick you up and drop you off for free. They cruise the main drag in Senggigi in a bemo sort of car. Hail them and visit this beautiful spot on the beach. It has a pool for guests. It I'm pretty sure that even if you are not staying there you could use it. Pizza, pasta,... More

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! The atmosphere is absolutely stunning, especially for sunset, and the food delicious. Good pizza and pasta can be difficult to find in Indonesia but Alberto has absolutely nailed it. I had the Ravioli Spinaci and it was so tasty that I couldn't resist ordering a second. There is also an extensive drinks menu with... More

We stayed at the Sunset House, a stroll away on the beach from Alberto. I read good reviews on TA and thus enjoyed the place for a few drinks and appetiser before ordering more substantial food. Of course we had pasta. Perfectly al dente and saucy. The tables are right in the beach and there some lampoons in the trees.... More

We had fish, sea food and steak dishes. Fish and seafood were average, steak was good. Considering the price range, we were expecting better dishes.

Surprise package of Senggigi in terms of dining experience. Certainly exceeded our expectation in terms of the quality of food.... We tried almost types of pasta on menu, several starters and almost all the desserts..... Brilliant lip smacking good. Service was a little bit slow.... One can argue that it is expected given a lazy beach town..... Never the less...... More

During our two week stay, we ate almost all our meals at Cafe Alberto. For a number of those, we made special requests. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We felt like we had our own private chef and serving staff!
