We went to this restaurant as it is just a few minutes walk away from our hotel (Kebun villa). I ordered the home made ravioli and the chicken parmesan. Both were really good but in my opinion the portions could be a lil bigger or more chips with the chicken parmesan cuase the suace was so delicious. The dessert though... More

We ate in here on our second night in Senggigi - it was a very tasty meal as we (the adults) had the tasting menu so got to try different things - the minced fish and coconut satays were the highlight - but this tasting menu is a bit steep at 125,000 per person. The service was a bit slow,... More

Asmara is situated along the main street, and although traffic is running by, the place has a nice, quiet and romantic atmosphere. You can choose to eat at a table under the trees with little lanterns. The food was good, but not the best we had on our trip. The staff is very patient and friendly.

Service here is fantastic, food is delicious.Took home some of their homemade bread which was wonderful, and you get a free ride home in one of their complementary cars. Highly recommended.

The decor, ambience and outside areas are wonderful. The food was rustic and reminded me of home, something mum would make. The garlic bread was just toast with garlic butter on it, but was delicious. The schnitzel was huge and yummy. Nothing fancy and no wow factor with the food but, simple home style fare. The service however, was slow... More

I ordered a chicken breast dish which was very dry so I didnt eat it and our waitress came straight over and asked if something was wrong and I said it was a bit dry so she immediately took it away and gave me a menu to order another dish. If only we got service like that in Perth.

This restaurant has a nice setting, great food and service. It offers free transport within 5km and had live music which added to the atmosphere. Would definitely eat there again

We ate twice at the Asmara, first time I would have given them a 4/5 .. almost perfect. The second time my husbands meal was inedible. The service is a little slow but very friendly and it is a good location. Overall I think the food offers good value for money.

Popped in for lunch on our last day in Senggigi. They have a very varied menu including European and Asian dishes as well as kids menu (they even do puréed food for babies!). All our meals were great as was the service. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms.
