Loved everything about this restaurant, staff well trained and attentive to your needs. Good selection of dishes both Indonesian and international. Food was cooked to perfection with local vegetables and herbs! Portions were large so after two courses could not fit in a desert even though they looked delicious ! Prices were good considering the quality of the dishes. Would... More

Spotlessly clean & with genuine friendly service, we had dinner twice at Asmara and enjoyed it both times. Both times we went for the Indonesian options, although the western menu looked good with a German influence. The complimentary bread came in the form of a bagel - these were delicious - so good that we bought a couple more to... More

We went to this restaurant three times for dinner. The chicken satay is the best and the staff are amazing. This was our favourite restaurant in Lombok.

Nice food at a very affordable price! The service was more than great, with a free shuttle service from our hotel on top of all.... Well worth a visit!

The Asmara Restaurant is a great place to eat and enjoy a quiet evening. A short taxi ride from our Villa's into the Main Street or Town of Sengiggi. There were 4 of us and we each started with an entree. 2 of us had the same entree. Before the entrees arrived we were served a very fresh bread roll,... More

The restaurant itself is very clean and nice-looking and service went smoothly as ever. The food was up to par with the prices and quite tasty. Me and my girlfriend's fish dishes both lacked the spiciness of real Indonesian food and the restaurant had clearly made the dishes with keeping in mind their view on the preferences of most Western... Generally, restaurants along senggigi are not great. The flavour in food is very catered to caucasian taste. Best to ask the locals to take you to their recommended restos
