My son and have been traveling the camino and this was by far the best meal we have had in Spain. We found this restaurant based upon the reviews in Tripadvisor and the meal and company was superb. If you are in Cee, this is a "must"!!!! Victor, thank you for making our visit so memorable. We will tell all... More

WE found this place by accident 2 years ago and where delighted by the food and by the warm reception of Chef Victor and his parents. Two weeks ago we returned with several friends and relatives. Victor prepared a 10 course menu based exclusively on fresh seafood that was to die for. You can't miss this place even if it... More

Had dinner at this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Definitely one of the best in the area!!! The food is excellent - I strongly recommend the fish and seafood, The restaurant itself is very pleasant and clean, the staff are all very friendly and it offers great value for your money.

I just love this family restaurant, the young chef brought lots of experience from El Celler de Can Roca in Barcelona. It's very difficult to choose a dish because they all taste very good and freshly made. But you must try the famous lubina ( sea bass ) also lobster, clams Paella, etc .But if you are not into fish the... More

I had the fish soup which, after I ordered some salt to add, was very good and then the salad with goat cheese, which was delicious. The salt, by the way, came in two variants, fine grained and in bigger bits such as from the sea. The lady from the service was very friendly.

Read this one on tripadvisor and we decided to go. Without trip advisor and maps we wouldn't never have found, it's slightly outside the centre of Cee. What me most marked was the friendliness of the people. Can't remember exactly what we had, both times. Just let you recommend by Vitor and you have a delicious meal. Also here like... More

A place like this was really needed in town. Really nice and fresh food. You can find tradition mixed with innovation. Friendly people will help you to choose. Also the place is not the typical "tasca". Nothing against tascas, but a restaurant, a true one, was not easy to find till O Recreo opened.

After many days on the Camino we were in need of a great meal and found it in the least likely of places. not only was the food great, but the family was too. they ended up having Orujo with us late night and sharing stories as if we were part of the family. what they don't advertise is that... A rich, freshly cooked slice of Spanish tortilla on the house to start, followed by Navajas de Finisterre (local razor clams) with a citrus reduction and scallops grilled on their shells. A magnificent goat cheese salad as a palate cleanser, with greens plucked from the garden outside while we waited. Then whole grilled Lubina (European seabass).for the main. All washed... More

O Recreo is a gem of a restaurant! I visited when I was passing through Cee on the Camino de Santiago and checked the reviews on Trip Advisor, since they were all excellent, and all in Spanish, I decided to give it a whirl for lunch. We sat in the bar and asked the waitress for her recommendations and then... More
