Whilst waiting eight hours on our connecting flight we bumped into this restaurant by chance. Only walking in to shelter from the rain we only wanted a quick drink but got talking to Shawn/Shaun. He convinced us to have a spot of lunch and it was very good, a very simple veggie wrap with grilled local veg. But his entertaining,... More

I was taken to the Tides restaurant on Sunday 12 as a Mother's Day treat. Having never dined at that restaurant before I was a bit apprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good, the service Ok (It was buffet style) not much interaction with the staff, and the atmosphere was great, with a cool breeze blowing from the... More

I rate the Tides Sunday Brunch only three stars due tot he cost. The food was excellent, but their were only three options for the main course. You will never be disappointed eating here, the service is always good to great. The atmosphere is fantastic, nice breezes, and very, very clean. But, the Brunch is too pricey for the options... My wife arranged to take me here for my birthday, our reception was a bit frosty but once we got chatting to the staff at the bar they seemed to cheer up. I thought the food was very well priced for the quality and would have to pay much more back in the uk Would I return ? Yes probably

The service and food at Tides has never disappointed. The Sunday brunch is great value without compromising on quality and the lunch and dinner service never ceases to impress me. Tides is now one of my favorite restaurants. The view is amazing to complement an amazing restaurant.

Excellent venue...right on the Ocean overlooking Jumby Bay...lunch is buffet style, but good value, get there early, so as not to miss out on any selection...went twice, and would go again, when next in Antigua

There were a few things that let Tides down. My first course was seared scallops which was really a large salad with 3 smallish scallops. The main course of Lobster Thermidor arrived while we were still eating our starter and had to be sent back. The actual Thermidor was OK although the lobster was not really chopped up as finely... We had had a lot of expensive mediocre meals in Antigua and then we came to the Tides. It was lovely. Well presented food, tasty, really nice staff and such a nice Caribbean atmosphere, something a lot of the other restaurants on the Island can learn from. Even though quite expensive comparatively it seemed cheap for the quality. We went... More

We had a late flight home so we went to Tides for lunch before heading to the airport. The restaurant is quite large and very well situated right on beach with a great breeze. I had the sushi appetizer which was OK. The chic sandwich was delicious. The roast beef - so - so. Foccia bread was just too much... More
