We visited lunchtime because everywhere else was busy. The food was adequate but extremely pricey. Could not believe the cost of a small lemonade and my husband queried the double expresso which only looked like a single one. Service was good but not many people in there. Toilet not working either so instead of staying longer we decided to leave... More

Visited here with a party of 6. Firstly the location, what can I say? Absolutely amazing. A short walk across the beach and you'll find the restaurant. We all sat out side on the tables and enjoyed some drinks whilst enjoying the sunshine and views. We ate inside and the decor was perfect, chilled and beach style. It felt very... More

We had a lovely last meal at Surfside Polzeath. The location was great - right on the beach. The food menu was simple but delicious. The steaks were cooked to our perfection and we all loved the chips and surf-slaw!! Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is small but there is a lovely vibe . This will be... More

We have visited Polzeath every year for a week at this time for the last 5 years but this is the first time we have been to Surfside. The food was so good we visited twice in the week. Both times the food and service were outstanding. The chips, the lobster and the steak are all to die for. A... More

Spent most of my evenings in this amazing place. Location is second to none, as is the food and staff. Everyone was polite and fast. Food was perfectly cooked (I recommend the steak baguette) I look forward to spending next summer here too :)

Just enjoyed a pleasant meal at Surfside. We watched the weather change several times out in Hayle Bay. What a location! My 13 year old son demolished the lobster, served by friendly and helpful staff. I had a rump steak which could have done with being served after the lobster as it was a touch on the cold side. All... More

Had dinner here on a beautiful, warm summer evening after day on Polzeath Beach. The restaurant was very hot and service a bit mixed. However the views of the bay and the food (lobster and fillet steak) were excellent. Limited choice for kids made the meal rather expensive but it was one of those special Cornish summer evenings that none... More

Came here for chips and drinks with family. Amazing view of the beach and location is perfect sitting outside or in. Chips were delicious and reasonably priced. Great service from the staff who were very friendly and helpful. Will be coming here again!

A great bar right on the beach at Polzeath. Views across the beach, great atmosphere, relaxed and informal. A small menu but everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Waiting staff very friendly. A great place to chill for the evening. Nice touches, a bottle of water brought straight to the table when we arrived and a basket of blankets... More

A limited menu with simple food cooked to perfection, the crab salad was stunning, the steak melt in the mouth and the lobster was the best I have had, all eaten in beautiful surroundings whilst watching the sun setting over the sea. The staff were warm and welcoming, who could ask for more? I would recommend this restruant for couples... More
