Had lunch and dinner here during our stay in Polzeath and wish we had found it at the beginning of our holiday. Service was great, lobster, chocolate mousse and chocolate brownies delicious! Sunset amazing. Hope to be back next year.

We will come back when we return later in the year. What a setting, sun, surf and relaxing venue. Brilliant surf and turf, fresh tomato salad - try the big wave beer it's great.... More

Visited here as guests for birthday supper for 6. Casual dining style right on the sands of the beach. Complimentary mackerel pate and melba toast (superb) for starters outside & then dined inside on lobsters, fillet steak, salads & dripping fried chips. Gorgeous chocolate brownie & clotted cream/icecream for pudding. As previously reviewed - no finger bowls but invited to... More

We went here for our first night out in three months after having a baby - it was the perfect destination for a date night. Incredible views of the sunset, stunning food (the lobster was perfect) and great service. Thanks, we'll be back!

We visited Surfside twice for dinner during our 5 night stay in Polzeath recently. Under its new management it has been transformed into a casual and relaxed place to eat with simple but fitting decor for a beachside restaurant. Despite having only been open for 4 nights on our first visit, everything ran smoothly and we were treated to friendly... More

Stu and his crew have recently opened this beachside eatery and from its former car persona it is no a fresh, clean, simple beach restaurant. Big picture windows give you an uninterrupted view over Polzeath beach where you can chill out and drink a beer watching the sunset. We had a table of 4 adults and two children so two... More

Went to Surfside with my wife and was utterly thrilled that I did. Under new management and easing into a new menu as it was the first day since they had reopened. We both had a delicious cocktail made from apple juice, gin and earl grey tea that felt decidedly 'beach'-y and we both very much enjoyed. We stopped for... More

Under new management. The location is amazing. We only went for drinks on the terrace to watch the stunning sunset. The menu looked good but very pricey. The drinks were expensive but the Cornish lager was really delicious (voted World's best) and you can't beat the view so just accept the 'sea tax' and enjoy this beautiful spot.

This bar has really improved since been taken over last year. The food is excellent, cooked on the premises (I love their cheesy chips!), and worth the wait. The views from the bar seating area across Polzeath Beach are simply divine, there is nowhere else I would rather be as the sun sets. The addition of a bar license, serving... More

Went to Polzeath at the end of August with group of families and Surf side is much better than last year, hard working willing to please staff, better menu, the new beers and ciders on draught are a great edition and the cafe mambo style sunset with a glass is something not to be missed. I really hope you are... More
