We had a meal here while staying at the adjacent campsite. Everything about the meal, location and service was superb. Hope the rumour we heard about the lease expiring is not true as it would be such a disappointment not to be able to come back. Totally lovely!

If you like curry and you enjoy a good sunset then Cafe India is the place for you! Go in Spring and early Summer as the sunset moves round out of sight by late August.

Myself (a local)and my boyfriend (who is in the military and very rarely see) arrived on a Saturday at the Indian not booking (silly me) and firstly got turned away but the owners wife I believe kindly let us have their table. They were clearly very busy but did not fail to be attentive to us. We had a lovely... More

Went here for a friends birthday and the service was great. Splitting bills and large numbers of people was not a problem at all. Everything was convenient and easy. Toilets were clean and well appointed and there's good parking. Have since also had takeaway from here and it's just as lovely! :) fantastic fresh tasting food!

Being from the Midlands a lot of restaurant's have to live up to the local takeaways where we live, I can honestly say that Café India served up a fantastic meal for us as we were working in the local area for the week , food and service were very quick and would recommend Lamb Pathia ( loads of meat)... This restaurant has a superb view and lovely food too. Service is very quick and you are made to feel very welcome. Slightly over priced but I'd happily pay the extra for the view

Food was good but maybe a bit expensive for the quality. I understand though getting ingredients delivered to here is what pushes the price up. Biggest prawns I've ever had in a prawn puree. However everything lacked hotness. I tried four dishes on the table and none of them delivered the kick other restaurants do. But highlight of this restaurant... More
