Just enjoyed 2 totally sunny weeks in Cornwall..a rarity and ended it with a goodbye meal at cage India. The food is really well cooked. It's true some dishes are a bit sweeter than I am used to like the chicken achari ..I prefer it a bit more sour. But you cannot fault the friendly service and high quality. And... More

Would just like to recommend this amazing little place. Food was really good service was amazing, but the icing on the top is the sunset. Have been to many 'Sunset Bars' around the world only to see the sun disappear into a cloudy faze, looking a murky orange. We were actually waiting for the green flash at this place. A... More

Where to start, service was excellent and prompt. Lay out was good and very clean. Menu was extensive and as the portions were very generous. It is excellent value for money. One rice would easily do for two people and the naan breads were enormous. We stayed for a while after finishing the meal. Didn't feel under pressure to leave... More

Visited here as guests of a party of 6 adults. Staff were attentive & friendly. The table was a little small to accommodate all of the dishes which all contained very generous portions. The menu was extensive and varied. All food was well presented and tasty and enjoyed by us all. Worth another visit.

Just had a take away from Cafe India. We had 2 main courses, 2 sides one rice and a bread all for £30. Portions all a very reasonable size and could of probably stretched to 3 people. It was light when I picked up the food but can just imagine what a view you must get as the sun sets... More

Stayed in Polzeath in May and had a take away from here. The location is fabtastic and the staff seemed friendly apart from the stressed owner/manager. The meal itself was OK but they are way overpriced. Appreciate that they probably aren't open all year but £15 for a main dish (without rice or side dishes) is unbelievable for an average... More

I am a regular visitor to Polzeath & always eat at Café India when there - I take friends in whenever the opportunity arises. This is undoubtedly the best eatery in Polzeath, with freshly cooked food served with a smile. This restaurant must have the best view out of all the Indian restaurants in Britain! An excellent pint of Cobra... More

Surprised to find a curry house in Polzeath, let alone a good one. Had 2 takeaways so far and service has been prompt, food excellent and plenty of it, what more could you want after a day at the beach. Btw had takeaways rather than sit in restaurant as we have the dog with us.
