Location perfect with sea view and balcony. Service friendly but a bit slow. Food good quality, but would expect a larger portion for the cost. Had the pate, which was very minimal, 3 small pieces of bread, small amount of pate...and that was it! Tasted ok, but really was only starter quantity. Will... read more

Felt compelled to write this to warn of other people who have not been here before, and lots of people saying the same thing, which I agree with. Went here with friends for sundowners, during Easter holidays beginning of April, as the view is always lovely at the end of the day with the sun going down. It was quiet... More

Friendly staff, nice location and the food was good. You get a nice view of Polzeath beach and all in all it was reasonably priced given the area.

we went for dinner. We ordered drinks and 20 minutes later they arrives. We waited nearly 40 minutes for bread basket and olives. Our main courses arrives shortly after. The quality of the food we received was good and plenty of it. The problem seemed to be lack of staff, there were three very rushed waitresses for a full restaurant... More

My family and I (party of 9) called in for lunch to round off the last day of our holiday, the restaurant was not very busy (maybe half full) so we got seated easily. Our drinks order was taken reasonably quickly but took over 20 minutes to arrive. The waitress then took our food order, basically a variety of pizzas... More

Very nice for a quick snack and a drink, over looking some of the best Cornish scenery I have ever seen. The staff and service were efficient and the general feel of the restaurant was very welcoming!

My first time in Polzeath and my partner and I chose to come in the Easter Holidays, maybe not the best time to go but we were quite prepared for a busy visit so we knew to expect a wait for a table anywhere in the area without booking. When we entered we were told that the kitchen was closed..this... More

Right, so we set off for my sister's birthday, with a few sharpeners in the system, expecting a nice meal since we have been in the past. The atmosphere was great. We ordered a our drinks, however they took twenty minutes to come and had to drink them with the meal. We dodn't want to do this as we like... More
