Thank you team for looking after a bunch of noisy girls on Saturday. We had a lovely lunch with you and your amazing view.

Despite living in the USA I always manage to venture back to the UK a few times a year and without fail pop down to picturesque Polzeath. I have always been a huge fan of The Waterfront Café and Bar - having enjoyed many a gastronomic delight excellently prepared and served, - allowing me to relax, take my time to... More

Great sitting on the balcony overlooking Polzeath surf beach one of Cornwall's finest. Excellent Rock Brewery "Doom Bar" ale. Limited selection of food but all well cooked and presented. Fast and friendly service. Slightly over priced but worth it for the view.

My complaint that I didn't get a full pint of beer met with the comment that they are required to give 5% froth. Trading Standards should tell them that the 5% is an exemption not a target. And the beer wasn't as well delivered as the Mariners in Rock - food is better there as well

Having eaten in every restaurant in Polzeath this is by far my favourite! This seems to be the same as popular opinion so make sure you reserve a table as it is often fully booked!

In a lovely position overlooking Polzeath beach, We went for a lunch time birthday celebration and had to wait ages for service although the restaurant was virtually empty, when the food arrived it was very average, the fish and chips were very dry and the steaks overdone but I must comment on the crab salad which at £16 was an... I am surprised at the reviews I have seen recently. Either we caught them on a good day, or we had excellent service.....but we always have. We were not in a rush and I admit the food was slower, but we started with drinks and breads etc so were very content to wait for the food. There were 7 of... More

Great location but unremarkable food, very over-priced crab salad at £16 and over-cooked calamari at £12 odd...perfunctory service as if they were really not interested in customers....had to wait an age and they were not even busy and even had to ask three different people for the bill...when it eventually arrived it was for the wrong table....all round bad experience!

Been visiting Polzeath and this spot for years and it is in the prime location for views over the beach with the sunset in the evening. Food nice enough, drinks nice enough, staff nice enough but don't go here unless you are prepared to wait an age for your food. When we got our bill they had missed our first... More
