Right Up There With Best Meal In Minervois

We've been in the area for over two weeks and have been hearing about Bel. We weren't disappointed. We've been in the area for over two weeks and have been hearing about Bel. We weren't disappointed. 40e menu was terrific, accompanied by amuse bouche. Shame we were the only ones there. Only restaurant open on Sunday in Olanzac.

Had the best meal of my whole trip to France! Beautiful backyard patio. Wonderful wine. Dining room looked enticing for non-summer dining.

This is a hidden gem. Upon entering the unassuming entrance you find a charming dining room which leads to a very pretty walled courtyard. Dining here was delightful. Attentive service. Wonderful French cuisine with an excellent selection of regional wines. Start with a glass of Limoux(sparking wine from the region). Tip: here in France they drink wine with their food... More

What an exceptional meal we had. The best meal of the whole holiday. We do not speak French and they spoke little English but some how we managed. 5 course meal for 23 euros approx each and worth every euro. Strongly recommend.

The minervois bell is well worth beating a track to. We came across it by pure serendipity. The garden setting under trees with dappled sunlight sparkling through was ~ perfect. Service was by a lady whom we were sure was in training for the next Olympics games. Any question asked about the dishes brought an enthusiastic and full response. We... More

Good service and great food. If you are used to excessive UK portions then this may disappoint. We would certainly return

We were lucky enough to be taken here by friends who live close by, therefore know where to go and can speak fluent French. We chose from the 31 euro menu and enjoyed each course, beautifully served by a very pleasant young waitress, whose English was possibly perfect, but we never got to find out! The wine was perfect (don't... More

I've been in the area for 9 years, and this is the first time I've heard of, and visited this wonderful restaurant. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once inside! The di ing area is very charming and the "garden/patio" in the back is the nicest in the region! The service is great, and the food likewise.... More

This restaurant looks nothing from the outside but we went for an evening meal and sat outside in the shady courtyard at the rear. We had the €31 menu and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, staff friendly and surroundings nice. Could not fault and will be looking to go back, probably to sample lunch in... More
