A pleasurable/wonderful experience

The minervois bell is well worth beating a track to. We came across it by pure serendipity. The garden setting under trees with dappled sunlight sparkling through was ~ perfect. Service was by a lady whom we were sure was in training for the next Olympics games. Any question asked about the dishes... read more

Good service and great food. If you are used to excessive UK portions then this may disappoint. We would certainly return

We were lucky enough to be taken here by friends who live close by, therefore know where to go and can speak fluent French. We chose from the 31 euro menu and enjoyed each course, beautifully served by a very pleasant young waitress, whose English was possibly perfect, but we never got to find out! The wine was perfect (don't... More

I've been in the area for 9 years, and this is the first time I've heard of, and visited this wonderful restaurant. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once inside! The di ing area is very charming and the "garden/patio" in the back is the nicest in the region! The service is great, and the food likewise.... More

This restaurant looks nothing from the outside but we went for an evening meal and sat outside in the shady courtyard at the rear. We had the €31 menu and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, staff friendly and surroundings nice. Could not fault and will be looking to go back, probably to sample lunch in... More

We had such a wonderful meal at Bel in 2013, so we wanted to make sure we ate there again this year. It did not disappoint. My husband's fish was excellent, but my veal chop was even better – and he agreed. Unfortunately, the weather did not permit our dining on the patio as we did in the past, but... More

Went for lunch with friends, we sat in the lovely courtyard and had a very nice meal. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

Found this one cold night in December. Difficult to tell if it was open or not but once inside we were met by friendly staff. The restaurant is pleasantly plain and simple and reflects the accents of the area. The meal was excellent value for money at 23 € plus drinks and for that price I wouldn't critisise any of... More

My husband and I are spending a couple of weeks in Olonzac and decided to try this restaurant even though some of the reviews have been a little iffy. The outdoor area was closed as it is getting quite cool in the evenings so we ate inside. We both very much enjoyed our meals. We both ordered off the 23€... More

Went here for lunch on market day. Family-run and charming. Beautiful courtyard with very stylish table cloths! Food fresh and delicious and extremely reasonably priced. Really do not know how they do it. Why can't we have places like this in England!
