I came here with my wife during our honeymoon and I can easily say that this has been the best meal. We shared one set dinner and a charcuterie plate and it was more than enough food. The set dinner included the best duck breast we've ever had and the one glass of wine that my wife got was on... More

I came here in 2012 and had a lovely outdoor meal. Back in 2014 twice. First time al fresco was great but for obnoxious Danish man who upset everyone while taking exception to the local cats. Second time despite drinks mix up the pizzas were 10/10 and I have never said that about a pizza ever! A must in Olonzac.

If it is a case of 'you get what you pay for' then this little restaurant is excellent value indeed. Visited three times, once on market day. Good food, good choice, very reasonable prices and very friendly service. Little square outside was very pleasant.

The Chef here is highly regarded by locals. Nice location on the square. Service a bit hectic - very busy which is a good sign but waitress run off her feet! Starter salad was superb! Mincourse was also very good and finished with a scrum my Creme brûlée. Wine was included in a €13.80 per head lunch. Fantastic value and... More

Good interesting range. We had the 23.00€ Menu which was well cooked and presented. We visited twice and was not disappointed.

We invited our local hosts to a late meal and didn't wish to venture far or use a car. So about five minutes away, we found La Citadelle. It was a welcome find and we all had the ''à la carte'' menu as suggested by Sandrine, the owner, who was quite helpful. We were treated like kings and the real... More

It was a dark and bleak old Winter's night in Olonzac, so we set out for some nice food and a bit of cheer. The welcome at La Citadelle by Madame is always chatty and warm. There were a couple of other buzzing tables, despite it being a Thursday in February. At the very beginning were a couple of titillating... More

We had a plat du jour as lunch on a hot market day (Tuesday) served on the terrace just across the road and thankfully under the shade of some large plane trees. At 13.50 Euros which included a 1/4 pichet of wine this was really good value. The cooking is good quality country cooking by the Chef/Patron with a Paella... More

We were driving from Salleles Cabardes to Lourmarin when we realized it was almost too late for lunch so we pulled into Olonzac which I vaguely remember reading was a quaint town. Well, in early May it is down-right sleepy. We passed two or three spots which looked uninviting and then asked a local for a suggestion: she pointed down... More

A really nice local restaurant - the food is beautifully prepared and served. The menu de jour was excellent value, the a la carte had some great choices, the selected entrecote steak was perfectly cooked. The desserts were gorgeous. The restaurant is light and airy and in the summer dining outside in the square away from the main street is... More
