We spent 4 nights in Salento and ate here once each day...including a separate visit that we went back just for the coffee and orange chocolate brownie! The owners Luz and Jesus are super friendly and super interesting people...if you get a chance, get chatting with Jesus to learn about anything and everything. We also did Jesus' coffee appreciation and... More

They serve a great chicken jalfrezi here, first time in Colombia I have found a curry! They serve beer in chilled glasses too. Perfection!

We had dinner here our first night in town, enjoyed the excellent curries, a wonderful 'cocktail of the day', and the overall serene environment of the restaurant. We returned the next day for the 'executive lunch' after hiking - what a deal: soup, juice, and a choice of main meal for a great price - filling and delicious. This time... More

I did the coffee class at La Eliana and I liked it alot! Really interesting to taste the differences when you prepare the same coffee in 4 different ways(their coffee liquer is also really nice!). It also gives you interesting facts about the history of coffe and coffee makining in Salento. I also did one of the plantation tours which... More

Don't miss the coffee appreciation course. Very informative and a chance to taste the difference in methods of preparation. We stayed for dinner and the curries were very tasty.

We came here for dinner one night and the coffee preparation course the next. The food is fantastic, with a wide variety of options, however we all decided to go with the curry, as that is the owner/chef's specialty. The portions were perfectly sized and absolutely delicious. We returned the next day for the coffee prep course run by Jesus,... More

Some of the best international food we had during our month in Colombia. They make a great curry and the staff are very attentive. The owner runs small coffee preparation course which is informative, delicious, and a total bargain. We felt like guests in his home rather than customers, and his passion for food/coffee was what made the experience so... More

Luz does a fantastic coffee preparation course which is fun and interactive. You will try the different flavours of coffee from its preparation and learn a lot about coffee regions of Colombia. Don't expect to sleep soon after the course! The food is fantastic also and very well priced.

Went there to celebrate my birthday. The staff was really making and effort to speak English even though we had spanish speakers in our group. We order indian curries and trucha. Mine was the trucha and it was delicious with patacon and a salad ( and it came with a little candle for my birthday! hehe). Had a very nice... More

This place is a must when in Salento. Apart from the expertly selected coffee choice, they also have a very modestly priced menu. We went for the curry which was delicious and no accident it tastes like its from a curry house. We had heard about coffee classes here, but didn't know what to expect. The owner speaks great English... More
