We've had a week in East Lothian, in a cottage near North Berwick. We found a little gem in a village not far away in St Abbs. Ebb Carr's is a tiny cafe next to the harbour, it has a friendly cheerful atmosphere with an extensive menu, way beyond what you think a place this size should have. Most of... More
Nice place to sit outside in the fresh St Abbs sea air, good selection of food and snacks we sat in the sun and enjoyed it.
These premises are only open during the day. They serve good home cooked snacks, the smoked mackerel was excellent. Tray bakes were as good as any other I have eaten. The premises are licensed and serve bottled ales, although at £4.50 they are expensive. Staff were chatty and friendly. The premises are situated on the harbour and offer a great... More
lovely little café right on the harbour at st abbs , staff were all friendly and they do local seafood , the crab salad was gorgeous.
Stopped here at 3pm after an afternoon rock pooling. What a lovely place. Prices are excellent and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We had 2 crab salads and a cheese panini. I think this was the best seafood lunch I have had in a really long time. We will be returning here.
On our first wander round the harbour at St Abbs we were delighted to find a café right there that sold beer, and we have been back several times on subsequent visits. It is just where you want to sit down, and outside there is the added fun of fending off gulls, which keep a very close eye out for... More

We liked the look of Ebb Carr's and its location overlooking St Abbs' small working fishing harbour. When we walked in the door the delicious aromas of food in preparation decided us... More
Fantastic wee place, with great food and lovely staff! When staying in Eyemouth, we were recommended to head over to Codlingham Bay for the beach, and then St.Abbs Head to the tiny harbour. That's when we found this little cafe, which perfectly completed the wonderful day. A fantastic selection of food inside - especially their very fresh seafood from the... More
