Have dined here a few times. Food is quite good and they make good guacamole! Portions are nicely sized. We have always had good service despite some of the reviews I've read. Will eat here again, soon!

Highly recommend the beef nachos. Lots of food, tastes great, presents well. Margarita, not so good. But heh, overall a great experience.

They brought out a big basket of chips which was nice but they tasted very oily. We got a small bowl of guacamole, which cost $5! It was definitely not worth it. The food was average, nothing special. Waitress was not super friendly.

We came to this restaurant looking for good Mexican food and came out unsatisfied. My family and I were not waited until until about 30 minutes after we sat down. The waitress took our drink orders and didn't come back with them until 15 minutes later. When we ordered our food we thought this would take less time. It didn't.... More

We decided we wanted to try out La Cocina as it was in our condo area. So we went for lunch. It was almost empty so we had good service and the food was good. Typical American Mexican fare. If you are in the mood for Mexican definitely try it out. I had the fish tacos and they were very... More

You never know what to expect at resort places like this. This was really good-everyone loved their lunch and the waiter (may be the owner!) was a really cool guy and made it fun. My fish tacos were great and the sides (rice and beans) were also good. Beer was cold. Great spot-would certainly be back!

This restaurant feels like a chain restaurant. Definitely not worth the 30 minute wait. But it's the only Mexican option in the area that we found. Our dinner was okay but nothing special...although the chips and salsa were quite good. Our server was very good as well.

OUTSTANDING LOCATION. Great margaritas. Fish tacos are good as well. Also really enjoyed the brisket taco and the 3 taco appetizer. Service was outstanding.

Fresh, light, citrus flavors. Great enchiladas, Mexican corn and yucca fries. Meal was reasonably priced and very flavorful. Chips were light and fresh (and free). Service was spot on. So good, we went twice in one week.

There's really nothing remarkable about this restaurant. The food was average. My wife ordered one fish soft taco and paid six dollars for it. She said it came without the sauce mentioned on the menu, and wasn't worth even a third of the cost. My enchiladas were bland and lifeless. Giving it an average rating is being quite generous.
