Fajitas

This was in neat part of town and nestled among shops that might pique ladies interests. The fajitas were awesome. If you are not ravenous - this meal can easily be shared. Very friendly and lots of room. Service was quick like a lot of genuine mexican places.

Ate at this restaurant twice for lunch during the month. Both times we had excellent service and good food. Chips and salsa were excellent. No skimping on the servings and there was more filling inside the tacos, enchiladas and quesadillas than we have experienced in most Mexican restaurants. The restaurant is spacious, clean and nicely decorated.

This food is what I have come to expect to find in the deep south. My food was really sorry, the corn tortillas had come straight from the package and fell apart immediately . No spice, no kick ,which is very difficult to find. So if tasty but bland suits you, and that is what you accept as Mexican food,... More

Nice menu and friendly staff. Food definitely above average. When you have that yen for a Mexican Hen try their Enchiladas. Will go back.

Our family discovered La Cocina three years ago. We have been back again during our past two trips to the Gulf. This past May the place was packed with families like ours. Their chips and guacamole are very good. I had the fish tacos as I have ordered on my previous visits. It was good, but not quite as good... More

We went to La Cocina just 2 days before they closed for the season. Everything tasted a little off, like maybe they were cleaning out the freezers. The guacamole had a powdery taste to it, the tacos were just so so ad my daughter barely ate the nachos. I've always felt that this restaurant was lesser quality than the other... More

As 30-A begins to cater more and more to high-end travelers, La Cocina is still a great value and you see a lot of families choosing it. Thanksgiving week was PACKED. It's not the best Mexican food ever, but it's great beach dining and the staff is top-notch. Try the green salsa -- you have to ask for it special.

We've visited before and La Cocina is consistently delicious. Our waitress let us know our margaritas were on happy hour special (this is such a nice touch) so we took advantage of the special price and great taste and ordered a few. The salsa is fresh and not overly spicy just perfectly flavored and the chips are warm, thin and... More

My husband and I took a long weekend to celebrate our first wedding anniversary near Panama City Beach and visited La Cocina for dinner based on a friend's recommendation. We are so glad we did! To start, we tried the guacamole, which was fresh, cool, and seasoned perfectly, and the La Bamba Queso dip, which is queso with beef &... More
