The food was great!

It is a long drive to get to, but worth it for its uniqueness. We had dinner here and were actually surprised at how good the food actually was, as we thought that it might be mediocre, but it turned out to be the best meal that I had while in Tanzania.

I didn't have high hopes about the food when i traveled to Zanzibar but clearly i was wrong. First lets talk about the location, the restaurant is on a rock in the middle of the ocean! The coolest thing ever! Second, the food which for a restaurant is essential. Well let me tell you this, food was great and so... More

While i was in Paje i thought why not visit a <Cliche> location? And is really worth going there. Is a really beautiful place! You can visit it by foot when the tide is low or by a small boat when the tide is high. The views are fantastic and you feel like you are sitting in the middle of... More

I loved the uniqueness of the place, the view is spectacular. My observations: 1. Nice to go ( or leave in high tide) 2. I've tried to see prices before getting there but didn't find it on the net (I didn't want to have too much cash on me so ended up w almost not enough) - so either have... More

A must go! A unique experience with the most spectacular bloody red moon rise by the terrace. A boat from the shoreline will take you there and later at night with low tide you walk back to the beach. Food was fantastique (lobster). Good variety of food and wines. You will be impressed . Call Ali for taxi, he will... More

Having boarded the boat and experienced the choppy ride to the rock, we ate a pretty decent meal for a good price. To stand in a location like that drinking "The Rock Cocktail" their own cocktail can only be described as out of this world. I read elsewhere that this is one place that you simply must visit in your... More

Loved the view, the location, the ambience, the food, the Wine collection, the coziness and the service. The seafood that we ordered was fresh and delicious. They have a lovely collection of wine to go with the food you choose.

This restaurant is unique in that it is built on a rock off the shore with a magnificent view of the reef, the turquoise waters within the reef, and the white sand beaches. The seafood platter includes lobster, giant prawns, calamari and a catch of the day. One can arrive and walk up the stairs but on leaving will need... More
