We visit at least once a week and would say it was our local . The staff are lovely ,very friendly and helpful, the food varies depending on the chef that cooks it ,I think,as sometimes it's faultless but other times not so good but adequate. It is very reasonable for both food and drinks. I personally would like to see... More

We love going to the swiss, they have really upped their game.No complaints about the food either. They are understaffed when busy but they do a good job rushing around. They queue can be horrendous when ordering, they need to have a seperate order point for drinks only.

We use to go here every other week, but not been there now for 6 months, getting tired of 1.5hr waits for the same food (typical for franchise pub having no change in menu) which was usually wrong, cold or burnt. I'm not picky, I eat at Wetherspoons for heavens sake, despite working in one years ago. But, I would... More

service is shocking! constant swearing and shouting form the kitchen and the food looks like it had just come out the microwave - literally tasted like rubber. the swiss used to be great and has a lovely garden and pond - they really need to up there game as they have the potential to be a decent pub

Our last visit to "the swiss"was 2-3 years ago and was absolutely horrendous,we had been told though that there had been a big improvement with food standards and service - what a difference !!!!!!!!!!. Although this is part of the Fayre & Square chain which is not exactly gourmet food, both of our meals were excellently cooked, piping hot and exactly what... More

Came here with some work friends a few weeks back as it was my leaving meal . We had heard some bad things about the place but decided to persevere . We went in a friday evening , the place was deserted, we were served quickly and efficiently and had lovely banter with the waiter! It was reasonably priced and... More

Been here a few times and for the prices, I think the food is very good - standard pub grub but always nice and well cooked. Service is always good and in the summer its great to sit out by their big lake and watch the ducks.

We went to the Swiss Cottage in Shoreham. Lovely lake and ducks and other feathered friends to look at. Very nice meals, service a bit slower than in the past.Friendly staff and worth a visit.Meals well priced.Summertime great things for children to play on in the large garden. All in all nice pub.
