A great meal, authentic Italian with fresh pasta. Service and atmosphere was faultless. I really enjoyed my meal as did my partner.

I had the vegetarian pasta dish and my friend had the bolognaisd. Both were delicious with a very friendly and welcoming service. Never been to Topsham before, found it by accident and don't know why I've not come across it before. Will definitely be back both to Topsham and Marcellos. Highly Recommended.

Marcello's is quite obviously a place the locals know, love and keep coming back to. We ate there once on our stay and had a very nice meal, but what really stood out was the friendly, family-orientated atmosphere. (Damn fine bolognese too!)

Had dinner here last night. Small but very pleasant environment, the ONE member of staff that was front of house was superwoman! The restaurant was pretty full all evening and she greeted everyone, served all the food, did all the drinks, answered the phone, did all the bills/payments and still managed to stay cheerful and keep everyone happy all evening!... Visited Marcello's for a family occasion. I had the lasagne which was excellent, only improved upon by the homemade ice cream. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The leeks in my wife's risotto were a little underdone which overpowered the dish a little (maybe a matter of taste and the only reason to dock a mark).

Marcello inhabits an old schoolhouse - which gives it a pleasurable olde worlde ambience on Topsham's narrow High Street. My friends and I went to Marcellos in october of last year. Very nice food and good service, little space with lots of tables and chairs and rather busy, and only toilets are upstairs. No bar or outside seating Excellent restaurant for Exeter and surrounding, but for topsham standards it would be my 4th choice
