As we were staying in Callian for our holiday we would frequently visit Les Marronniers for a coffee and ice cream. The ice cream was excellent, with big pieces of chocolate in the chocolate ice cream and lovely pieces of black currant in the cassis-well worth the extra pounds put on! The staff were always friendly and the one meal... More

This is a typical French brassiere style restaurant situated in the quaint hilltop village of Callian, near Fayence. The restaurant is directly on the road which traverses the village so there is some traffic noise but nothing terrible as it’s a very quiet road mostly and, the good news is, you can eat outside which is lovely on a nice... Came for lunch and was very happy! Service is great, food was excellent and wonderfully prepared. Had salad de Chèvre Chaud (goats cheese) which was wonderful. Also went for the Burger which is a chefs special......just the best! Great little village restaurant, nice friendly staff, good food and all at a reasonable cost...can't ask for more really can you!

We stumbled across this delightful and picturesque little village by chance. Callian is tucked away on the hillside not far from Fayence. The service excellent, not pushy, yet attentive, friendly and courteous. The food was excellent and very very good value - nothing was pre-prepared, it was all freshly cooked. We admired the fountain and the sound of water as... More

My husband and I just spent 3 weeks in Callian a lovely Village Perche in Provence. Jessy and Sara run a delightful restaurant on the square with amazing food, reasonable prices, large portions and great service. The moules are plentiful, salads fantastic everything we ate was delicious. Nobody rushes you, it was relaxing and being there made our visit very... More

Welcome is what it is all about and the welcome at Les Marronniers is excellent. Beautifully situated in a provencal square in this very pretty village. In summer the square is closed off to traffic on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings and the whole square becomes an open air restaurant. Very nice for a morning coffee too or a relaxed... More

We stayed in Callian for 1 month this year and frequented what can only be described as "The Best little Bar/Restarant". The Hospitality of Jess & Sarah is exceptional, they go out of their way to make you feel really special. Vanessa, the Waitress is always smiling and though I cannot remember the name of the Chef, he is really... More
