After a two hour drive from our home in France we were ready for lunch. A Viassa had been recommended by a retired professional chef; she was spot on. Small quick fried cubes made from chick pea batter were served with our aperitif. It was amazing. Very simple, but we could actually taste the chick peas as if the flour... More

We had a delicious meal in lovely surroundings at A Viassa. This small restaurant has a touch of elegance, with white linen tablecloths, but it's not at all stuffy. The service is friendly and attentive. The menu offers some dishes, like my pasta with a sun-dried tomato and squid sauce, that are a departure from more typical Italian fare. We... More

Having dinner in this small resto is an old habit, but still surprising how they keep innovating on the track of local cuisine: forget about heavy and thick creamy styles of the french traditon : just take a seat and make your choice : you shouldn't miss it

Three of us had a wonderful lunch. It was the only restaurant busy in town and the recommendations were correct. The staff were attentive but professional and the owners are clever with their simple interior. Our food was delicious. Recommend to others. Thanks Tripadvisor for steering us to A Viassa

Not only the best restaurants in Dolceacqua, but one of the best restaurants in the Riviera di Ponente. I visit the French Riviera annually and make at least one trek from Menton to A Viassa during my visit. In fact, I have been here for lunch 5 times in the past 3 years. And each time the food and the... More

A gem. Refined regional dishes prepared with skill and care. Great wines at reasonable prices. Staff are professional and warm. You cannot go wrong here.

We went there twice. First time, after running away from Zafferano. We had good fish, a very yummy semifredo (probably one of the best in my life) and good local wine. The second time we went for a proper dinner with starters and main courses and should say that this time the food was not as good as the first... More

I have eaten here many times, both in small groups of 4/6 friends and with big groups of colleagues (around 20/25). The place has always been up to expectations. The food is prepared with first-quality local ingredients (olive oil, fish, vegetables...) and the menu varies according to the seasons. The service is perfect; the waiters are helpful but not overwhelming.... More

We had a lovely lunch here. The ambience is modern and warm at the same time. The service was attentive but not overwhelming. We asked the owner if we could do a wine tasting of the local Rosesse wines and he opened bottles to accommodate us. The food was excellent, a bit nouvelle but in a good and honest way.... More

Warm enough to eat outside . Dinner was delightful. Good food and service. Should serve a different kind of bread..especially since their oil was stupendous! All in all, it was a good choice. I would definitely return.
