This Restaurant is now closed and has been reinvented as the Slipway seafood restaurant. I cannot comment on this restaurant.

Required a quick, tasty takeaway and this place provided. Thai fish cakes, pad Thai and chicken with chilli and garlic. Very generous servings, balanced quantities of meat and vegetables and nice dose of chilli where required. Rice noodles and rice were a tad stodgy. Overall, honest food at an acceptable price, fast friendly service. P.S. the menu said open for... More

This is my 'go to' Thai takeaway. (Have only eaten in once), Have been going here for at least 6 years. The Canadian host is helpful, friendly, professional and nice mannered. The food is full of flavour, and it is seriously hard to decide what dishes we will choose each visit. It is a little pricey, but you get an... More

Not a 'dine in' review, as we only tried the takeaway option. Finally a massaman beef that had plenty of both beef and potatoes in it (my local Thai at home could learn a thing or two from this). Wife had a pad thai noodle dish and the prawns looked pretty big and juicy. My daughter tried the pineapple fried... More

The only things letting this restaurant down is that they were quite lacking when it came to the main ingredients of meals. The flavours were amazing, but the main meals did not have enough meats/potatoes at substance. We found ourselves fishing through the broth for meat/mass. Again, great flavours, just a little let down by the main ingredients lacking.

The guy who served us was very professional, courteous and attentive, the food is generous, authentic and tastes great. Atomsphere is quiet but really this is Tuncurry it's a quiet place enjoy it while you can! Thanks for feeding us.

Tucked away on the riverbank next door to the fisherman's co-op, this restaurant proved a pleasant discovery. The Canadian host was accommodating and his wife's north eastern Thai cuisine was delicious. We started with money bags and prawn blankets which were fresh and tasty. Mains were seafood curry and basil with minced pork. One of our party is Thai and... More

We had Christmas lunch here because there was nothing else open. Nice views and friendly owner. Soup was good but over priced at $15 a bowl. The pad thai was $20 and though tasty it was very oily. In all we had two bowls of soup and split the pad thai and the bill was $50. To me that's just... More

This is the second time we have visited this resturant in 12months (we do not live in the area). Both times we have had a good experience. The green chicken curry was good and flavourful as was the yellow pork curry..Cannot fault the service.
