I do not understand why people like this place. After three times I will not go back. Noisy, average at best, pizza, soggy salads and not so good service. Is getting your pizza five minutes earlier really worth all of that?

After visiting the nearby Armand Hammer Museum, I took my wife and our son's family to 800 Degrees in Westwood for lunch. The person who took our order could have been flustered my the changes we made during the ordering process, but took it in stride. Nevertheless, when our orders came out of the kitchen, several errors were made. I... More

Pros: Fast, fresh, tasty pizza, interesting concept, reasonable prices. Cons: A little noisy, slightly salty dough.

Several options as "subway" style, so you choose the base and topping. Wood fired oven makes all difference on flavor.

We had margarita pizzas and salad. Three out of four in our group really liked the pizza, thus the four stars. I found the pizza lacking in taste and the salad a big pile of chopped iceberg lettuce. The location is on a less busy side street. One of our pizzas had a gluten free crust which is great for... More

Definitely a spot to try for a quick supper if you are in the vicinity of UCLA. Style is build your own pizza with the California approach that some items go on the pizza after it's fired. I chose arugula and prosciutto on the basic marinara. Maybe better to be more risk taking. Limited beer and wine choices, but I... More

This was great pizza. We arrived about 5:30 and got right in, but by 6:30 customers were out the door and for a reason. The pizza is made in front of you with your choice of sauce and toppings. Salad and drinks are available including wine and beer. It's in a great location to UCLA's campus, it's also across the... More

I went and queued to have a plain margarita. They clearly struggle to service enough pizza's quickly enough. I don't know if its not enough staff or not enough ovens or what, but service is pretty slow. Perhaps it's organisational. I enjoyed my pizza when I got it, clean, fresh ingredients and a nice taste. The pizza was a little... More

sorry, but I have to agree with some of the other reviews posted on trip advisor. first, the good. the location and setting are great. the ingredients are fresh, healthy, and tasty. the price is reasonable. the not so good: as others have stated, the pizza is soggy. maybe because the place is crowded and they are trying to serve...
