Expensive buffet and not at all great!

The food doesn't have a great taste at all. The butter chicken was watery and the mix-vegetable was so hot that it couldn't be eaten without a glass of water next to it. The tandoori chicken was also dry, with the chicken not be succulent. Only the chaat items tasted good. I ended up eating more of... read more

We used to like this place more than we do now. Always come here for the lunch buffet. The last time we had lunch, the food wasn't good anymore, just tasted boring and less flavor. Too bad.

I was their with my family, worst Indian food I have ever tasted in my life. My kids got sick ..... Tandoori chicken was over burnt, lamb curry was worst. It smelled horrible and old. I just want to say that it is waste of money and over expensive. Shame on owner who is representing Indian food in worst taste.

We stopped by for the buffet: wanted something simple and quick. It has familiar offerings: chicken curry, butter chicken, tandoori, vegetarian options, rice pudding... but the flavors were a little different from the Indian places we frequent in the Bay Area. With that said, it was all enjoyable. We were introduced to Manchurian balls, served with a delish spicy-sweet sauce.... More

We were delighted with our stop after my family had a hankering for Indian food. We ordered a variety of dishes for four, and found the service and taste to be right up there with very good fare in most contemporary cities. So when in Tahoe, if the urge strikes you will not be disappointed!

Tried lunch buffet here and food was good. All dishes were tasty but its very expensive for buffet. If you specially love indian cuisine and are vegetarian, this place is not a bad option.

The food itself was good and there were a lot of choices on the buffet. They were constantly refilling the empty containers with fresh food and the service was good overall. The place was crowded but it was spacious enough to accommodate a lot of people. There was also a bar at the restaurant. The main downside was the price... More

Lunch Buffet was ~$63.00 for 3 persons. Felt it was overpriced since a majority of the food was vegetable based. The place was busy and a line formed at the small buffet counter. No frills--Wasn't served water and there wasn't a water dispenser. We had to ask someone working there if we could get some water and then we were... More
