We visited on a Tuesday night and received quick service in the bar, not bad prices for drinks, and really good prices on tacos. I asked to have my tortilla and fried cod separate for the fish taco; fish was great, jalapeno cole slaw quite tasty. Hubby's blackened chicken taco also abundant and delicious. Nice fireplace with chess set and... More

We were wrapping up a 3 day motorcycle trip coming through South Lake Tahoe looking for a lunch spot. One of the group suggested an Irish Pub that he had stopped at and had a good meal. All 8 of us entered the interior of the restaurant and instead of being greeted, the waitress said " that tables taken" and... More

Pet friendliness - Yep! I had the strip steak, which was tough. My husband had the fish and chips which were just average, heavy on the breading. Dog had chicken strips. He had no complaints. The server was very nice, but not around much, and waits were pretty long. We had dinner finished for probably 20 minutes before she noticed... More

In more than a few visits I've found the atmosphere friendly, especially to watch a sporting event and have a drink and a snack on the patio. In winter I like to eat in the bar area which has a cozy feel compared to the adjacent main restaurant area. The food is passable, but I stick with simple stuff like... More

Was expecting a fun Irish Pub but was received with a run-down place with minimal service and errors in our food order. The food was average but the dirty table and the servers below par service deserved 2 stars. Won't go back again except for a beer in the patio.

My friends and I made a quick pull off the road to try Murphy's. We thought it might be the last spot before we got too far along the drive around the lake. The luck of the Irish was on our side. What a fun, low key spot. Jen, our server, greeted up with a smile and soon enough a... More

This isn't the "high end" place to go, rather it's a warm, friendly perhaps even quirky place to go. The lamb stew and pot pies are really, really tasty! We are able to bring our dogs along - since they offer outdoor seating. We're not in a hurry when we come here - we just get to relax and enjoy!!

My husband and I stopped into the pub for a late lunch on a beautiful Labor Day Saturday afternoon. The restaurant had outside seating that was a bit too noisy so we picked a table inside. After about 30 minutes the manager asked us if we had been helped and took our drink order. Another 15 minutes later the waiter... More
