Thought the atmosphere and service was great. Nice Bar. Sushi was just ok. If you want great sushi, go to Naked Fish down the road, but it is much smaller and doesn't have the same atmosphere. more

After our second poor experience we've pretty much written this place off. They are so poorly run, that they can't handle any take-out orders--even at 5:30pm, when the restaurant was empty, because "the kitchen can't handle the extra load." Kalani's features excellent sushi. However, main courses are average, there was certainly nothing too negative with the food it just was nothing special. The atmosphere is very nice however and service is attentive. Probably not the ideal family location. Being in Heavenly village, Kalani's features expensive prices and kids may have trouble finding something to suit their taste. more

You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu be it cocktails, app's or entrees. Try the Hawaiian Mojito while you wait for your sampler platter of scallops, lamb shanks and crab cakes or try any of the tuna small plates.
