We were referred to this restaurant by our bellhop at Embassy Suites and he didn't let us down. It was my 30th birthday and everything was fabulous from the minute we sat down. Since our bellhop called for us they gave us a free appetizer and gave us top notch service. Menu is not exactly big, but what we got... more
My husband and I ate here one evening after reading about it in the Lonely Planet. We had garlic soup and raosted garlic crostini to start which was basically two whole bulbs of garlic roasted whole and you then squeezed it out and spread it on the toasted bread. It was delicious - as was the garlic soup. The wine... more
I had the chicken saltimbocca, and Nancy had Fettucini Alfredo. Both dishes were quite large and very tasty. I really enjoyed the saltimbocca, lots of flavors and lots of food. The alfredo sauce was rich but not gluey. Try the lobster ravioli for an appetizer, I guarantee it! With a shared caesar salad and a bottle of chianti, we both... more

We just got back from a glorious summer week in South Lake Tahoe. We found a great Italian Restaurant .....Scusa. They have been there about 17 years and the food was innovative and wonderful. So good that we ate there twice. One night I have the sea bass special....so delicious and my husband had veal that you could cut with... more
We are fortunate to be able to spend one week per month at Tahoe during the winter months. This winter we are systematically visiting all of the fining dining restaurants at South Lake Tahoe/Stateline. Scusa on Ski Run is one of the best restaurants that we have ever encountered! The Lobster Ravioli appetizer with white cream sauce, was YUMMY! The Crown... more
The food was dire. Plates of completely incompatible flavours, where the only consideration seems to have been quantity over quality. more
Scusa! on Ski Run Blvd. is one of my favorite restaurants in S. Lake Tahoe. This moderately priced restaurant (around $60 for 2 with appetizer and dessert) is well worth checking out when visiting Tahoe. The service and staff are great. The garlic bread is very good as is their veal scallopine. The tiramisu is very good as well. Reservations... more
