We had 4 for dinner this evening. We were early so the service was good and attentive. The specials were extensive and the hostess struggled to describe them properly so the waiter had to go over them. The waitress also said that the soup was vegetarian but when questioned she admitted it was made with chicken. Better training is called... more

We loved the place so much that we returned 2 nights later to try other dishes. Good service, generous portions. Halibut entree was great, other entrees comparable. Need reservations-place is small. Parking just outside the door. more

Dining at Nephele's was a wonderful experience. The unique Californian cuisine makes in the best of South Lake Tahoe. We ordered the "seafood cheesecake" appetizer. It was like nothing we had even eaten before and it was delicious with some bread. For the main course, we had the lamb. If it is available then I would highly recommend getting it.... more
