I don't believe one could have a better restaurant experience than my wife and I had at Cafe Fiore. It is an expensive place, but the food quality, service, and overall experience is well worth it. We each ordered one of the specials, me a swordfish steak and she a halibut, and they were prepared in an extraordinary fashion. I... More

This is a must go to for us when we visit Tahoe. The restaurant is quite small so reservations are necessary. On warm nights, we prefer the outside deck. The Friendly wait staff are knowledgable about wine and attentive to your needs. The choices are pretty broad and they will cater to special dietary needs. Entrees come with a choice... More

Liked the ambiance, service and the food. Except I would not order the lobster and pasta dinner again .. ".Aragosta Melodia Fresh lobster served over fettuccini, tossed with mushrooms and tomatoes; finished in a lemon tarragon sauce. " The lobster was dry and there were about 4 pieces of tomato and 4 slices of mushrooms and not much sauce. I... More

Tiny, romantic, charming and delicious, what more could you want? Great wine by the glass list and most generous pours! Don't miss the eggplant crepes, the dinner salad was fantastic and the swordfish special was amazing. Friendly and efficient service too. Loved everything about this place!

Went back to one of our favorite restaurants. It is small, intimate place. It seats fewer than 20 diners. My wife ordered the swordfish special and I had the Dijon pork tenderloin. Both were delicious. The hostess/servers; Kate and Brian were very good. They kept a comfortable dining, with no rush to make room for new diners. The sous chef... More

Just a great little place, unmistakeably rustic Tahoe. There is a great variety on the menu and nightly specials for the restaurant's size, yet everything is superbly fresh, and an excellent wine list too. Their sauces are outstanding, obviously made from scratch. It's tight quarters which adds to the ambience and you mostly overhear how this is a persons Tahoe favourite.... More

The cafe has a seven tables in the winter, and expands to an outdoor deck in the summer. Nice Italian food in a quiet and intimate setting provided for a lovely evening.
