This is a busy bar and therefore noisy and a bit of a wait for food. However it was very good and lots of choices. Large portion sizes. Would certainly come back.

Typical pub food. Big helpings suitable for hungry men. A good atmosphere but the food is not up to much.

Mistook the street for a restaurant one street over. But was in the door by then, and was both hungry and thirsty. Good range of beers. The food is Ok, pub food. Good service with bubbly staff.

Good pub food. Service good. Ambience in "Irish Pub" setting is excellent. Can be busy at peak times.

Great pub with great atmosphere - very popular but you can not make reservations so be early!! Friendly staff - good menu choices - servings a bit on the large size. Prices reasonable. Like all pubs can be noisy. Children welcome.

Food is great even has my husbands favourite beer on tap. When my brother came from England to stay with us... More

Family pub - they encourage you to bring the kids - food is pub food - but it's good. There is a large number of beers from all over the world - but Murphy's Red (Irish ale) is my favourite. Pretty good value overall

Had lunch here with friends upon recommendation of our guides from Bay Tours and Charters. We all really enjoyed it; food excellent, especially the Hearty Beef & Guiness pie, which was delicious. Others had the same. And fish and chips. I found a new beer, for me, Tui Dark. Excellent staff, very clean and comfortable.

Where else in the Bay would you find Fullers London Pride and other fine tap bitters, than in this pleasant faux traditional English/Irish, Havelock North watering hole? Served a little too chilled for the British palate, but that is sadly universal down this end of the world. The standard, reasonably priced pub food complements the extensive range of drinks on...
