This is really a wonderful experience: one of the smallest, most remote places I know and one of the best restaurant... And both, Isabelle and the Chef, Regis, speak English! There are also some rooms there, if you don't want to drive after a nice dinner .... Merci à Isabelle et Regis, une fois de plus, c'était délicieux!

At the end of a windy road lies Le Mas : a charming provençal village. The view from the restaurant is a wonder : just take a look at the changing light over the moutain. Friendly & caring service all the way through. Food is made and talked about with love what makes it absolutely delicious. Inspiring place & people!

We stayed at the Auberge for 5 days and we enjoyed breakfast and meals. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and having a genuine french breakfast in such a quiet place is a must have experience. The restaurant is a great gastronomic moment, all in the plate, no fuss and no waiter ballet: everything is about the taste! The... More

What a pleasure to visit Auberge le Charamel, where we enjoyed some of the best food that we have eaten in a very, very long time. My rabbit parcel with spices starter was superb, as was the veal with morel sauce to follow accompanied by a delicious couragette gratin and a stuffed vegetable. The selection of deserts to follow was... More

For some years we have been passing at the Auberge. Isabelle is always been excellent with her service Régis is a masterchef in his kitchen. Yesterday was the 3rd time we had dinner at this fabulous place. The food was again superb , the service excellent and location very nice. The fact that one can sleep in one of their simple but comfortable rooms and thus be able to enjoy the excellent wines selected by the chef makes the experience rather unique. Breakfast is lovely,... We own Mas la Jaina, a B&B de charme in Bargemon, so we are always looking for nice places and good Restaurants. Auberge Le Charamel in the beautifull layed back hamlet of "le Mas" is an outstanging place and very good valeu in Provence! It is almost in the middle of nowhere, so you are garanteed having "a break" here!... More

The food, is delicious, the presentation of the dishes is amazing and the service is great. Regis, the chef, and his lovely wife Isabelle, run that place with plenty of charm and elegance.

We went to Le Charamel on the recommendation of a French friend who lives in the area. She told us that the food was fantastic (gourmet quality) and he prices far more sensible than you would find in Nice or Cannes. I couldn't put it better myself. The food is cooked by the husband, who has had a number of... More
