Best bakery in town for bread. Tasty choices of artisan and European style loaves. Enjoyed fresh cinnamon buns with coffee. Delicious, and you get a choice of with raisins or without!

This was my first visit in Whitehorse and I was very happy with it. I had the gluten free, sweet potato pizza and it was amazing. I also had a lemon cranberry cookie that was also very tasty. The people within the bakery were very friendly too! I met a woman who had been to a small town in Manitoba... More

Been in a lot of bakeries in my life and eaten a lot of pastries and for me this establishment fell short. True, they have a beautiful wood-fired oven and there were some funky looking artisan loaves on the shelves, but there wasn't much in the way of rich inviting pastries. Maybe because the whole vibe is organic, sprouted grain,... More

We loved the freshly baked breads and pastries. There are many baked goods prepackaged in small quantities, great for a road trip!

The cinnamon buns right out the oven at their 8 am opening time are an absolute delight. I was totally fascinated watching the Baker doing his thing with their wood fired oven, a novelty for me and a unique skill for him. This place was within easy walking distance to our hotel and became a regular breakfast stop. Highly recommended.

First, we had lunch. They offered two pots of soup and accompanying breads. You can refill as often as you like. The Dahl soup was terrific. Then, a small group of us (doing a Habitat for Humanity build outside Whitehorse) went back for breakfast several times. If you get there right at opening time, 8 am, you can get their... More

We stopped by for lunch and had a very large bowl of dhal soup. Very tastey and with added rice was hearty and filling as well as comforting on a cool fall day. We also had pizza by the slice. I had the mushroom and olive with red pepper and onion and I must say it was delicious! My wife... More

Great breads, muffins and coffee. A perfect venue away from the madding crowds! We have picked up great flax seed loaves, muffins an cinnamon buns. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Alpine Bakery is a quiet, authentic bakery - with the wood fire baking the bread! The quinoa porridge breakfast is a delicious and hearty way to start a day in the Yukon! All food being vegetarian is a refreshing change for us! The vegetarian soups and ratatouille - a treat for the palate! This is a nice place to meet... More

This bakery has awesome breads and chili- unfortunate that I could not try everything while there because it all looked so good! There are a myriad of gluten-free and vegan options, and they also sell interesting cookbooks and a few other small things. The people there are genuinely friendly, and the setup inside is cozy but not confining. This is... More
