Truck stop across from the airport.

A truck stop diner style restaurant with friendly staff. Loved the fries. Good value. A mix of locals and travelers on the Alcan.

Great Saturday Brunch - big portions for Truck Drivers as well as locals and tourists. Friendly service - good value for meal. I always buy the fresh made bread and cinnamon buns when leaving. A must for anyone who wants to gain Yukon atmosphere.

The really good thing about this hotel is that it is only 2/3 minutes away from the airport so this was perfect for us.

Was taking my friend to the airport so we had lunch here. I have lived here 11 years and never think of going here! It was 11.30 so there was only one other table there. The service was prompt and attentive, although there was only one server in sight. Don't know if they bring someone else on if it gets... More

Good sandwiches, decent fries - this is basic diner food that is especially easy access - plenty of parking for RV's and big trucks - the service is fast with seating at tables or a diner bench. Prices are reasonable and it is consistent - large portions. We eat here on occasion - it is dependable if not really creative.

We originally wanted to eat downtown in the historical area, but there was no RV parking or even a public lot that we could find. At the gas station, we were told that the Airport Chalet was the place for lunch and we are very happy that we took that suggestion. Plenty of parking and the restaurant had a steady... More

This is a very nice little store in the airport. They have nice assortment of clothing and jewelry. The artwork on the Aurora Borealis is truly beautiful. I bought some post cards and stamps.

A pretty good rule of thumb to follow when traveling by road is that if the big trucks stop somewhere for food...the food is good and the prices are reasonable. The Airport Chalet fits this rule...and it breaks another travel general rule: restaurants close to airports are overpriced and lack personality. The Airport Chalet can provide you with generous servings... More
