It's like walking into a real Mexican restaurant in Yukon, Canada. Last year I was in Mexico, and a local told the story of travelling through the north and finding Sanchez Cantina, he raved about the quality and authenticity of this restaurant. Good service, awesome sunny deck.

Food is very yummy, mmm fresh salsa ..and the " pop" flavours are out of this world tasty. I found the seating is a bit crowded. The price is on the high side so I don't go as much as I would like. Service is slow

Food and drinks are authentic and delicious. The space is a bit cramped and it's a bit noisy, but it's comfortable enough. The food will not disappoint, nor will the pitchers of margaritas.

Enough said. You don't get much for your money, everything kind of tastes the same, and the service is very rude. I have been there three times because someone talked me into it. Never again. There are nice places to eat in Whitehorse. I would not recommend this place.

I went here with a diverse group of work colleagues and we all love our meals. Despite the large servings, everyone's plate was completely empty by the end. The spicy prawns were a great appetizer and the chef adjusted each meal to our varying tolerance of "heat". The brightly decorated atmosphere would convince most people that you were 3000 km... More

Small place which did not look remarkable from the outside but we went in because it had been recommended. We had no booking, the place is fairly small and it seemed pretty busy but the friendly staff quickly sorted out a table for us. Service was very good and the food excellent. Best Mexican flavours we experienced on this trip

I recently went to Sanchez Cantina with a couple of friends and had such a delicious meal, you HAVE to try the tacos they were so darn delicious! Even though it was really busy and we didn’t have a reservation, the friendly waitress managed to find us a table. The ambience was super and so was the guacamole (we ordered... More

We entered the establishment and were seated immediately. It's a small place with great bright coloured walls and nice art displayed. A nice beverage list that was reasonably priced, which is always good to see. A friendly waitress which put up with my indecisiveness. My date ordered his meal first, it was a good sized portion plus was delicious. When... More

I have been going to Sanchez Cantina since 2006, and I will keep going anytime the offer comes up. Relax atmoshere on outdoor deck looking at the Clay Cliffs, in the heart of the city. Expensive for the size of meals, lots of vegeterian option. Don`t miss this jewel when you come to Whitehorse.

The food we had was good, but the enchiladas (all of 3.5") were the smallest I have ever seen. The salmon entree was quite good, but at $26 pretty spendy for what you got. Want some chips and salsa before dinner? No problem, but they are not free. The restaurant had 5 tables occupied but service was slow ( albeit... More
