Had dinner here in August 2014. The food was very fresh and homemade by the server's mother, who owns the place. Warm and cozy atmosphere with beautiful Mexican decor. I'd recommend this place to anyone for a casual but tasty dinner. Both romantic for couples and great for families.

This food is priced accordingly (authentic Mexican north of 60 is rare) so it's quite expensive. But it's also really good and filling. Service is fast and friendly. Will go again.

Sanchez provides very good Mexican food. I can compare it to restaurants in San Antonio and good Mexican spots in Toronto. It stands up well for north of 60 and south of 49. I don't know about Mexico never having been there. It is not fancy (it is basically a Quonset hut with a roof on it) but it is... More

This may be the best Mexican food we've ever eaten. Service was super as well. Furnishings not the most appealing, but still OK. The three-milk sponge cake was great for dessert. We liked this place so well we ate there both nights we were in Whitehorse. Family run by friendly folks.

I have been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The guacamole is amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for folks looking for a relaxing delicious meal.

Delicious, homemade Mexican food! If you are only familiar with 'chain' Mexican food, read the menu descriptions carefully. We had a chile rellano and a 'gringa' (a cross between a burrito and a quesadilla) the beans were unlike any others I've had and the guacamole was simply superb. The chile rellano was stuffed with carne asada that melted in my... More

We sat outside on the patio and had coronas and great Mexican food. Wonderful guacamole and salsa - everything was homemade and delicious. Our only complaint was that the beer was not very cold.

Wow, who would have thought you could find great mexican outside of the southern US, but we did! We stopped in Whitehorse from a Holland America tour and our tour guide recommended Sanchez. Well, being from Texas, we were pretty skeptical, but were wanting a change from the typical fare we had been having so we gave it a try.... More
