By far the best Mexican food I've ever had. Friendly staff and great prices. Don't go if you're in a hurry though, they operate out of a very small kitchen and good food takes time.

My kind of small, family out of the way place. Cozy, Quiet, and excellent food. Try the Chicken Mole ( Veracruz Style ). God food and service.

I've eaten numerous times at Sanchez Cantina and have loved it every time. The food is great - very flavourful, the service is excellent, the prices are reasonable and it's just a nice place to be.

Went here expecting an average Mexican meal, not the case at all. The restaurant is family run and the service was great. Food was very authentic and delicious. If your staying in Whitehorse I would recommend eating here for sure.

I stumbled across Sanchez on my first trip to the Yukon. I used to live along the US/Mexico border, for many years, and know and love Mexican food. I have been back to the yukon four times now and with each trip I eat more and more meals at Sanchez. The food is great. The menu/options are great, with obvious... More

It is simpe food, traditional. Portions are small for the price and on a few occasions they run out of food.

Small, cozy restaurant. The enchiladas with tomatillos sauce were excellent! And the cerviche appetizer was the best! Liked that they served Sol beer too. Service was good too.

We went twice while in Whitehorse, once on our own, once in a group of 14 doing a Habitat for Humanity build. We found the food very good the first time and recommended it to the others. Some said it was the best Mexican food they had ever had. Service was friendly and efficient, atmosphere warm and inviting.
