After taking a several month hiatus from the cork and bull (due to poor service and slightly above average food) my girlfriends and I decided to give them another shot...mistake. After waiting for two hrs food finally arrives, in batches...some hot some cold, some wrong. Did I mention while we were waiting we did not get offered more cocktails or... More

Went out to the Cork & Bull specifically try out their food tonight. We quite enjoyed our meal. We both had steak perfectly cooked to our preferences. The wine selection is fabulous - we savoured a great red from Washington that we had never tried before. Very nice. The key lime pie in its mini mason jar was a creamy... More

I have been to the C&B about 7 or 8 times since it opened. In general, the service is very good, sometimes outstanding, and the food is usually top-notch. It is a bit pricey, but no more than the other "higher end" restaurants in town. There is a good selection of food for people of all tastes. I don't eat... More

We recently spent 4 days in Whitehorse and on the recommendation of a taxi driver we tried this restaurant and we are glad we did. We were four people and we explained to the waitress upon arrival that we were going to a concert so time was an issue. We were served efficiently and pleasantly and had a delicious meal,... More

While in town on business this restaurant was recommended to me by a few clients so I checked it out. I found it on the high end of the price scale but the food was reasonable. I had the Halibut. The rice was dry, veggies good but the fish also seemed a little dry on the one half but at... More

Tonight was the second time we have eaten at this restraunt, once when they first opened, and then again this 15 of June. The first time the service was fairly slow which we put down to their being new, but tonight the service was even worse! Arrived at 6:00 pm and did not receive our order until after 7:30 pm... More

We chose this restaurant after a long trip to Skagway via bus and train. The welcome was o.k. but I found the service lukewarm in comparison with our experiences of other restaurants in the area. The food was well prepared and served. Would I go again, when I return. Not likely.

Excellent location and very good food. It always seems to be busy, so our table wasn't in the most comfortable location, but we managed. The food was excellent! Steak was grilled perfectly and the salmon was top-notch. Wine went down easy and the dessert was tasty. But why don't they have nice curtains covering the big garage door windows in... More

Summary: A fantastic steak accompanied by extremely dim lighting and slow customer service. Atmosphere: Walking into the Cork & Bull, the dining room is nice, dark wood colours with a somewhat rustic feel, exactly what was expected from the outside and considering its location, downtown Whitehorse. My eyes took a while to adjust, coming in from the bright afternoon, however... More

We ate there last Friday, a group of 5. Not very busy. Three of us ordered the 12 ounces rib eye steak for about $35. While the steak we got was tasty, it was about a quarter of an inch tick and no more than 6 ounces. 3 beer, 2 glasses of water, five main course, no dessert or coffee... More
