Good night on town

Slickly decorated with open street side windows on hot summer nights.Long bar and lots of tables. Good and accommodating hostess and wait staff, varied menu with good oyster selection the night we were there. Food well prepared but not spectacular, attentive staff but didn't hover.

Very expensive. Although we arrived a 1/2 an hour after they opened, we were informed about all the food on the menu that they were out of. This was disappointing as we had read the menu before deciding on eating there. It was very noisy. NO I will not return to this bar.

First night in Whitehorse. Went in for appetizer and drink before bed. Very friendly staff and good apps.

Wow wow wow what a wonderful find located off second street on Main this was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful menu wonderful wine and beer cocktail list. Our server Megan was very helpful we wanted something different and she recommended the Bison Bolognese which was absolutely fabulous - my husband and I shared. For an appetizer we tried the white fish... More

Apparently restaurants change hands frequently in Whitehorse and what was the Cork and Bull is now the Miner's Daughter. You should go. We started with crispy deep fried pork belly with a could of dips. As if you need to add more fat to pork belly. They were crackling and crunch and just right for an appetizer. My daughter had... We enjoyed the fried wontons and fish tacos. Yummy! We wanted a small side garden salad but it wasn't on the menu. The rhubarb upside down cake was excellent. The atmosphere is very nice but the room was too noisy to enjoy a conversation; we may have been there when it was too busy. Our waitress was wonderful; she said... More

We had gone to Dirty Pub which is immediately next door. I think what they have done is divided the Cork and Bull into two. The Dirty Pub was good but they had appetizers, pub grub and pizzzzzzza's. This is a younger crowd's place. However we wanted some supper and this was one of three recommended by the Pub. This... More

This place is closed, and it's not a bad thing. Food was mediocre. Best bet is to head nextdoor to the bar that the restuarant also owns, and eat some za.

I had the occasion to eat at the Cork and Bull twice in June 2015. Both times were limited to beer and appetizers but the variety and quality of the food was so strong that I didn't miss having a main either time. From the oysters to the blistered shishito peppers to the various bacon or bison themed dishes, everything... More

We ate here a few nights ago, and we were very pleased with our choices of ribs and salmon salad. The portions are kind of small, but very well presented and tasty. American visitors will like the prices as their dollar is doing better than ours, but Canadians will find this restaurant a bit pricey. Great service as the waiters... More
