Terrific home-style food. Homemade soups, fresh sandwiches, all the brunch favourites. Try the maple-infused bratwurst. Big portions. Gets very busy during lunch-hour.

Burnt Toast in only a few years old but has established itself as a morning spot to stop in and enjoy a great breakfast. Small and out of the way but right close to the Rib House that has so many tourists hanging around waiting to get in. If you don't take advantage of this location your missing out on... More

The food was average. My friends salad was huge but so was the price. Service was poor. Disappointed as we heard such good things. Maybe it was on off day.

Scallop salad is soooooo good! A bit of the Yukon version of "hospitality" on occasion.. but great food and drink. Lunch options are a bit out of my comfort zone though.

We had heard good reviews of Burnt Toast so we were mightily disappointed when the experience was marginal. I will start by saying the food was good, but the service was frustrating. Admittedly they were busy, but two servers for the cafe is not fair to the customer or the workers. They seemed tired and not at all friendly. Consequently... More

Great tasty food... generally good portion sizes and friendly service. Did have to wait a while to pay our bill at the end but otherwise very helpful and accomodating.

Burnt Toast fits the mold for a hole in the wall cafe in Whitehorse. The bonus is, the food is excellent. My wife and I happened upon this place on a stroll around the downtown area. Being a Saturday morning, brunch was the menu of choice - lucky us! I had the crab cakes benny and my wife had the... More

Went twice during my visit to whitehorse. once for dinner, once for breakfast. Really good food - different menu without trying too hard, so the food was amazing.

Unpretentious. Excellent food, whether burgers (quantity AND quality) or local game sausage (quality but not quantity).More creative cuisine on the menu and the specials board, too.Our jeans-clad waitress sidled up to the table and asked, "Well, what's for dinner?"

Husband and I had breakfast at the Cafe. Was one of the best breakfasts we have had on the trip. Also, the most reasonable priced. Wait staff was very pleasant. Highly recommend when in Whitehorse.
