Loved the authentic, casual decor, food and drinks. The mango margarita was fantastic! 😊 Had the lunch tortilla chips covered with chicken, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, guacamole...lots and very good! Close to home and will be back! Wednesday is 2 for 1 margaritas!!

This is a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant in a strip mall, but the food is really good and authentic, and the service is very friendly. When we want a taste of Mexico to keep us going until our next visit south, we head here. It never disappoints.

This place always falls off our radar for some reason. Not sure why. Whenever we go we are all like it and his time was no exception. It can get a bit busy so be prepared to wait a bit on a Friday. They are ver good at tiring tables and keeping things flowing. The food is more authentic Mexican.... More

I went here with my family for a meal. Its a very small restaurant and we had to book a table ahead of time. It was very busy. The décor is interesting ,lots of Mexican flags and tablecloths. I had the chipotle beef tacos with rice and beans . The beef was lovely and spicy and the taco's soft just... More

Hands down, the best most authentic Mexican restaurant in town. The food is unreal. Although bit pricy, good service and friendly atmosphere make this hidden gem the place to go in YXE.

I LOVE La Bamba- all their food is authentic since the people who work there are from or "made" in Mexico as their shirts say :). Every time I want some real Mexican food I go there. I have had enchiladas, quesadillas, and Tacos Carne Asada con Queso (Steak tacos with chesse)- all were excellent and come with refried beans... More

This is a very small place, only seating for about 35 people in a very confined area. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. We had the Enchiladas La Bamba, and the Toquitos and both were very good. Tasty and fresh ingredients. You can tell a lot of care went into this menu. The portion sizes are... More

I LOVE la Bamba however, the last few times I have been very disappointed! The portion sizes have decreased and the service has declined. We actually recently left after sitting in the small place for over 20 mins without even being acknowledged! So disappointing.... I use to love going there and went almost every second week. I won't ever stop,... More

We visited La Bamba over the Christmas season. The restaurant is small, friendly with authentic Mexican food. I appreciated that all of their menu was, or could be, gluten free. Also nopt too expensive. There are larger and better known Mexican restaurants in Saskatoon but none better!
