Mexican alternative to your regular fare

Great small place that is not well known. Kind of hidden at end of 8th street but worth the drive. Nice change of pace from regular done out places. Friendly staff and small location so get there early if you want choice of seats. All dishes have been good for me so far.

I went here with my two daughters and had a Great authentic, and amazing meal. The food is always fantastic and you definitely get more than enough to eat. The atmosphere is family friendly, the staff are always so welcoming. Always a good choice to come for great Mexican food. 5 star guacamole!!!!

The place is small, maybe 12 tables. But the service was great and the food was just excellent. Highly recommend the chicken mole tacos.

This is a small and very popular cafe, probably due to the quality/quantity of competition in Saskatoon. La Bamba made alot of effort towards the decor and Mexican artifacts in creating an ambiance. Cheap and cheerful, the staff were OK but in insufficient numbers for a Saturday evening. Our margaritas were thin and very sweet, a real turn off, so... More

Loved everything, try the fruit sodas, they are great. I had mango. Great guacamole. I could just eat that with chips and salsa and be good!

Not open until 4pm on Sunday. I traveled all across town from the Shaw Center for lunch only to find the advertised time to be incorrect.

We went to La Bamba on the way to the movies. Place was packed and we were in a rush. The waitress got use in and we were out in less than 30 min. Have to compliment the staff and owners - the place is well staff and the connect with you - a rarity these days. We both had... More

Enchilada Verde is the most tasty dish in the world. Simple Mexican food but, so good. A bit pricey and wished more salad options. Also, wished other drink selection other than pop.

This place has the best authentic Mexican food I've ever tasted! The staff is friendly, the beer is cold and the menu has good variety. The place is bright and colourful, with Mexican decor and the portions are generous. But the place is tiny and busy (because it's soooooo good).
