Cider and yam maki

I came here to get some sushi, there has been a staff turnaround and after an adjustment period, I think they have come back into the rhythm of things. The cider was awesome and the yam maki was as good as it used to be when GJ worked there. Mmmmmm

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Saskatoon, but 3 times in a row now I've had disappointing meals. I'm not willing to give them any more chances. Owners aren't paying enough attention to the kitchen and quality control is lax. Dishes are different every time I order them these days. Last time the tempura was soggy, and too... More

We ordered take out from Sushiro and selected a number of their custom rolls on a recent weekend in Saskatoon. Sushiro has all the right selection of flavours and textures in their rolls we have enjoyed from similar places elsewhere but the end result was not as good as I had hoped. The BBQ eel roll was yummy but others... More

A co-worker brought me here the last week in Feb. All the dishes we ordered arrived quick and were really great, friendly staff, great location in the trendy Broadway area. I'd definitely come back!

I have yet to find a decent shush restaurant in Saskatoon, and Sushiro certainly isn't one. Very commercial and trendy sushi not authentic at all.

Had difficulty getting a table on three separate occasions, so finally booked a reservation due to it's obvious popularity. First of all, the interior decor is very unassuming. Interesting drink menu - some very unique items....even the tea (ginger, honey) was fantastic. Interesting specials/desserts - tried the snapper cerviche, tempura figs, KFC.....all of which were very unique and delicious! Had... More

This is the reason why we get Hep shots. The cook was eating while prepping food. When you have an open gallery and people can see your cooks they look. If you are going to have this style of restaurant they educate your staff about being presentable including not eating while working. Now......the food. Decent. The waiter. Excellent. I hope... This is the place to go if you want great sushi in a dining atmosphere. It can get a little expensive if your really hungry but you will never be disappointed that you tried everything on the menu.

Was passing through Saskatoon and wanted to have Japanese food so we used the GPS query and ended up at Sushiro. What a great discovery! I would describe it as not a traditional Japanese restaurant but Japanese food with a twist. Nigiri rolls were delicious, crab cakes came with a great tasting sauce, calamari was done just right, served atop... More

It's been years since we have been to Shushiro. We gave it another try and It was fantastic and this is our new sushi spot in Saskatoon. The atmosphere, location and service were all good. Pricing was fair based on the total experience. Try the beef tataki, which is excellent and full of flavor.
