We just ate here today and both ordered the one piece cod and fries. I was disappointed because I wanted halibut but they only have that on Friday nights the waitress said. The fish and fries came on a plate that was annoyingly small, it was hard to cut my fish because there was no room on it. There weren't... More

We dined in on a Friday night and there were already people lined up waiting for a table. We did not experience the greasy food mentioned in other reviews. I had the clams and my friend had the fish and chips and we both enjoyed the food. I had the half order of clams and chips and found the portions... More

Had a craving for Gibson's when we visited Saskatoon and really were disappointed with the food. Definitely not what we remember from back in the day. Way too much breading with the fish, who ruins scallops by breading them and the fries had zero taste. Service was good otherwise it would have been a one out of five. Won't be... More

We are visiting from the Maritimes and looked up Saskatoon's best fish and chips...Gibsons was mentioned by all...so we expected to be wowed. Not so much. There was not a lot of fish in the batter and I found it very greasy. The fries were just okay. The best part of the meal was the homemade coleslaw. I am also concerned... More

Each time we're in Saskatoon we always make it a point to stop by Gibson's for a 'feed' of fish & chips, and we're never disappointed. Be warned though, the portions are large, so you may not have room left for a slice of their delicious key lime cheesecake.

Food was crisp and light! Fish batter was tasty. It's been 12 years since the last time we were here and it is as good as it was then! Way to go! I will be coming back here!

In laws brought over 4 fish n chip meals for supper. First time my wife and I have ever had Gibsons. Well what a disappointment ! The fish batter was rubbery tough an the chips were as soggy as you could get. Certainly wouldn't get from them again

This lil place was on the list of 100 things to do in Saskatoon and I am glad my wife and I did exactly that. The fish and chipes were top notch and very reasonably priced. :-) Service was very friendly and quick, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is spending anytime in Saskatoon.

I was in Saskatoon for business and ate at Gibsons four times within a week. Prompt service, decent food and reasonible prices. If you want good food in a non-prentious environment, eat here! Great chips and nice fish. Clam strips were over-cooked and dry, so I would not order again. Shrimp and Scallops were cooked well but certainly not homemade.... More

This place is an institution is Saskatoon offering standard British fish and chips. Price is a bit higher than you may expect but considering the demand they could be charging more.
