Quaint, friendly, and family owned

We ate here for the first time and can't wait to go back. The friendly owner recommended a Tilapia dish and we were blown away by how unique and tasty it was. It is small and a little dated inside, but that just gives it character.

The owners run the restaurant. They are Burmese. The menu explains the "etiquette" of Burmese food; you share many dishes. I was solo, so I ended up with a 'to go" package for $20!

This restaurant is different from your average Asian. It has genuine dishes, well done and is inexpensive.

Such a unique and interesting place in the city. No other places like it and that's a great thing. The only downside is that they do not make the naan themselve but everything else is AMAZING!

Pretty decent food, but a long wait for our meals. Food had a sameness to it--at times the sweetness of food was overwhelming. Not bad if you want to try something different, but I'd avoid it if you're in a hurry.

Small place in Saskatoon. The food was good. Menu options are good. It was full at lunch time on a weekday. The service was very good. Friendly owner and his staff. The onion tempura is very good. Presentation of the food was great. The air conditioner broke down on the day we were visiting but the staff worked very hard... More

...this place isn't in my city. If you're reading this in Saskatoon, and have never visited, you're missing out. Just do it. Don't expect fancy decor. Just great banter with the owner, great food, at a great price. First time there, get the owner's recommendations. And save room for the elephant ears for dessert!

The Golden Pagoda is a great lunch spot in downtown Saskatoon. It is a small family restaurant that takes pride in the service and food that they prepare. If you are looking for something that is different for a lunch out, I would recommend that you stop by. Portions are generous and there are options for even the most adventurous... More

Have been for lunch and enjoyed every bite. Not much seating so go ahead of noon if you want a table right away. Lots of choice on the menu. Not for those who don't like foreign cuisine as there are few domestic choices on the menu.
