Stopped here for a quick lunch with my associate. We made it clear to the pleasant young lady who greeted us that we needed to eat and be gone in 35 minutes. She quickly consulted with a colleague and identified three or four options on the menu that could be prepared, eaten, and see us out the door, in that... More

Best Veggie pasta I've had in as long as I can remember and my wife felt the same about her Coconut Shrimp. The Prime Rib was exquisite and we had a member of our group with severe allergies - the chef came out to the table to ask questions to insure he had it right. ( most impressive and much... More

Was expecting a lot more. It wasn't horrible but everything seemed to lack a bit. No desire or reason to go back

It's unfortunate that you aren't able to elaborate on your experiences with the restaurants you are so critical of. We are not perfect but we appreciate the opportunity to make the effort to create the best experience possible for our Guests. Successful businesses like ours rely heavily on their clientele's feedback but when it is not given in a courteous... More

Mom and I stopped by the Ivy a couple of weeks ago for lunch. We were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the sunshine. I ordered the corned beef sandwich. And Mom loved her soup so much she ordered a second bowl to go. The Ivy has been one of our favorite restaurants since it opened. Curtis and... More

With all the new restaurants in Saskatoon that we have tried we decide to check out an old standard. The Ivy has been around for some time now and many of our friends recommend it. The staff there are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient to say the least. Very Impressed. I was also impressed with the lounge and patio area and... More

Thank You for your review and for your positive comments. We are happy that you appreciate our decor, service and details. We apologize for the Coconut Shrimp and for the rice. We are just revising our menu for the Fall and we have chosen to change our rice entirely, as we agree that it can tend to be a bit... More

Went here my spouses birthday supper, waiter was attentive, good wine selection, the starter was excellent - duck spring rolls, caesar salad was fine - the wait between courses was longer as the evening went on, finally main course arrived - my steak was excellent, hardly any potatoes, but they were tasty - the hard rubberized carrots were shameful to... Thank You for your review and for choosing The Ivy to celebrate your spouses birthday. Our staff often don't rush our Guests' meals too much for fear that they would feel as if we wanted them to leave quickly. If a Guest expresses the need to be out by a certain time, or would like their meals rushed, we can... More

This is one of those restaurants that appears very upscale without the upscale prices...but a fantastic menu and service. I had the Ivy salad since I was having a light lunch and my friend had the salmon and creme carmel for dessert. From presentation to taste this was an excellent lunch. Great ambience. And!!! You have got to check out... More

Kevin Thank You for your very kind review. We certainly appreciate your comments and feedback. We completely agree with you that the parking during the day is a concern. Thankfully, the City is working to remedy this as soon as the new Police Station opens by converting the outside driving lanes on 24th Street into metered parking. If you return... More

The wait was long, for no apparent reason. We were visiting with friends so that was not our main issue. However, the cost of the meal seemed high given the lack of imagination in the food presentation. Our friends made the evening fun, but we'll choose another venue (e.g. Truffles or Rembrant's) the next time we all dine out.

Cindy thank you for your review. In comparison to our fellow restaurants prices in Saskatoon, we are right in the middle. We have not increased our menu prices in over 4 years and take pride in being a reasonably priced venue for what you receive. We include starter salads with all of our Entrees at no charge. As for timing,... More

The Ivy had a limited special menu for New Year's. All the dishes were excellent. They had a live band playing throughout dinner who played either jazz or middle of the road music with a female singer. It was a nice touch although a little loud and we could not talk with our friends when the band was playing. Our... More

The Ivy by far has the best steak in Saskatoon, they also treat my family most excellent when there. I have never had bad service, poor food or experience, I highly recommend them for Christmas parties as I hosted our's there and it was fantastic.
