service needs a nudge

food is good, but when you are there for lunch need to give it lots of time as service is slow, this would be fine if time is not an issue, but when you or your guest has to get back to work, it is an issue

Menu has locally sourced ingredients, fresh and flavourful items with a few out of the ordinary flavours.

A great place for a business lunch. Boffins always features a unique twist of a special flavour on their menu items.

We have had brunch and lunch here a number of times on visits to our old home city, and Boffins generally comes through well. The food is well prepared, interesting, and tasty. Both the indoor, Arts and Crafts restaurant, and the outdoor, chunky-furniture patio are appealing. Prices are reasonable. It's a nice alternative to the other options on the University... More

it would be better food if they did not use garlic in absolutely everything, soup, salads, meat, you name it.

High class, quality food, sometimes unusual but excellent menu options worth trying. Great dining second to none for quality and service.

This a fine lunch spot, located in the University of Saskatchewan's Innovation Park (itself an impressive spot). Boffins is a noisy place, full of scientists and business people discussing discoveries and business opportunities. The food is original and very good. The service is a bit odd -- overly casual and a tad unattentive at times -- but food is delivered... More

The atmosphere at Boffins is nice and relaxed, and they have some good, unique food options (not many), but the service is more often than not very poor. Try to sit at Chandra's tables and you'll be okay. Overall service quality took a sharp decline about three years ago (give or take a year). Hopefully, they'll get someone to shape... More
