Was taken by friends to try the Saskatoon berry. Great venue on river. Food and service was wonderful. The berry tasted lovely in a syrup over pancakes and as a milkshake. Highly recommend a visit

Wanted to try the pie made with the famous berries. Bad decision. It was tasteless. The waitress asked how it was and I told her it was like eating some plain oat brand cereal, it had no taste. She said - it's suppose to be sweet - and then she waked away. Then you have to wait on line 10... More

With the pristine clear South Saskatchewan River flowing by without a ripple to the South, the sandy north shore gives way to a quaint two story RED BARN and a matching wind mill that brings back memories. When the Pianoman plays from his repertoire from Wizard of Oz to Mary Poppins to Sound of Music, it all starts to slow... More

We went there for brunch, a five-some of ladies on a day out. I had the mushroom and cheese soup in a sour dough bread bowl and the rest had waffles with toppings. Nobody was disappointed in their choices. Prices were a bit high. Afterwards we went shopping in the souvenir shop - a good place for local and Canadian... More

limited selection on the menu, everything seemed expensive, small portions, rude staff(not this latest trip, but many times before). We ordered some pasta for my granddaughter(7yrs old) and they charged full price of $14 for a small bowl) Thanks Berry Barn-not really. They do have good pie though.

We went to the Berry Barn and for some reason when we were ordering I didn't feel like getting the perogies- big mistake they are local and taste good and one of the best things on the menus. Personally I don't think anything else on the menu is worth the price they are asking for it- certainly not the $15... More

If you are looking to pay thru the nose for bland food, small portions, an extremely limited menu and substandard service the this is the place. At least it was clean. The atmosphere might be a kind of novelty if you were entertaining company from out of country that wants to see a rural setting. It's very picturesque and rustic.... More

I had the opportunity to take my mother to the Berry Barn last week. Such a pretty setting. So many flowers, Saskatoon trees, antique rustic looking ornaments, all within steps to the river, and to add to the setting is a big beautiful red barn. We had a great lunch, borscht and a fresh roll, and of course a berry... More

Disappointing. Borcht soup without beets? And, it was cold, as well. $17. for prefrozen ready to serve chicken strips and fries? Local in-town truck stop will offer same menu, at prices to match. Long way to drive for poor quality food. Tourist trap smell.
