Delicious Mexican Food

Although when you first walk in you think you've entered an old worn out bar, and you have, but the food is amazingly good. A nice variable menu with food that leaves you satisfied. They welcome families with kids until the evening, when it turns into a clasic bar and music lounge.

The chilli is a "got to have"! The perfect heat and covered in melted cheese. A couple of big garlic buttery pieces of Texas toast makes it the perfect meal. Quick and friendly service as well as reasonable prices makes Amigos even more appealing. We will be there whenever in Saskatoon!

Food seems to be consistently good. Never a complaint from those of us who live in the neighbourhood when Amigos is suggested for lunch or supper. I generally order the chili or the beef tacos and would recommend either. Portion sizes are at times enormous. Service can be slow - the place seems to always be busy.

I have been a frequent guest at amigos for both shows and dinner. The service is always mediocre, but the food holds its keep...until today. I'm allergic to beans and told the server, who had been unattentive and rude from the beginning. Of course, after a long wait, my meal came covered and filled with beans. She replied "Oh yeah,... 100% my absolute favourite place to eat in Saskatoon. The ancho chicken enchilada is the best thing I've ever tasted, my boyfriend even brought me one for breakfast in bed on my birthday last year! The staff are great and the live bands are so much fun to watch!! Can't rate this place enough!

This is a place you slip into like old cozy jeans. Good food, interesting servers, and the ever-phlegmatic Alex striding around. You know exactly what you're gonna get here. After a hard day (or night) you can always come here to relax and pop back a fee tall ones. I recommend the Big Mess, the steak sandwich or the Chicken... More

When i came here, i didn't have any expectations about this bar. But it was awesome. All people were friendly and the atmosphere was really nice.

I rate places by how much you get, how good it tastes, how fast it comes, and how much it costs. Our party tried the poutine, baked beans, sandwich, salad, rice, fries and drinks. The quantities were huge for what we were expecting. The poutine was more of an Italian style (no gravy and a meat sauce). No one said... More

I have not been here since 2002. .. it's been far too long and now I am totally hooked we came in to share something to eat -we chose the enchiladas and they were soo good! We ordered a side of jalapeños (for an extra charge) and instead of a dip cup of canned jalapeño s we we pleasantly surprised... More

There are a few other options for Mexican style food in town but this place is by far the best tasting and best value for your money. Everything I have had off the menu has been delicious and you leave stuffed to the gills. I personally love the rice and beans (which appears to get a bad rap on here).... More
