Ordered Tuna, Tempura, miso soup, unagi, salmon and a tiger roll. The staff were very friendly and the food along with two Saps were served with smiles and attention to details. I've definitely had better sushi (based on my travels) but this was a pleasant surprise. Lots of locals were imbibing - that's a good sign.

Have been to this restaurant a couple of times, downtown location, the sushi is good. The price is reasonable. It always appears not enough people working there during the rush hours(12pm to 1pm). Overall, it is worthwhile trying once in a while

We ordered off the menu as we could not justify the "all you can eat" price for our 12 year olds ($19.99 per person for anyone over 8 years old). The Dragon sushi was outstanding and highly recommended. The other sushi we tried was also very good. The miso soup was very reasonable priced ($1.50) and it was tasty. The... More

A group went for Japanese food. The rolls were good. The service was spot on. Everything came in a timely manner. Heck I am pretty sure that we didn't even order everything that was delivered. The smoked salmon hand roll was fantastic.

and okay other choices too (Chicken pad thai was nothing like any other pad thai I have ever tasted, but I guess I should have gone for Thai...) Service was okay but rather confusing...

The food is excellent, service could certainly be better. The variety is outstanding, the downtown location is great if you work downtown but otherwise is a drawback.

I've been to Nisen several times and the results are always the same: the food is awesome if you can get the server to bring you some. On my most recent trip, We gave ourselves 1 1/2 hours for lunch and got there before the rush. The server took our our order initially and brought food out moderately promptly. She... More

Spent considerable time online reviewing Japanese restaurants as I was craving some fresh rolls to enjoy. I ordered a california roll, dynamite roll the Nisen roll and chicken yaki udon. All were fantastic and as good as most I enjoyed in YVR area over the years. Price was reasonable as well. Will definitely order from this place again when back... More

Very good food. Fresh made in an open kitchen. All you can eat for one price and order of a menu. There is a good variety of dishes to try. Enjoy!

For Saskatoon, a decent option for quality sushi. A large emphasis on deep-fried but you can avoid if it is not your thing. Spicy salmon/tuna rolls were great! Service could be better but it was pretty busy over the lunch hour.
