Great food, good drink selection

The salads here are awesome and the risotto balls are a great snack. Really good cocktails and the service is usually pretty good.

Great server, good selection of beer and super scotch eggs. Wasn't that easy finding a late night spot but fortunately this one was excellent. Atmosphere was great and they had a nice variety of seating types - booths, tables and nooks. Great if you're with somebody or just on your own.

After reading reviews and and looking to try a new place out, we decided on the "Rook & Raven". Very busy place. Our expecations were already set pretty high by the reviews and ranking, and we wre pleasantly surprised that it still exceeded our expecatations. The food is served with presentation, is very delicious and very large portions. The beet... More

This is a trendy little pub downtown. The biggest downside is the sometimes inadequate downtown parking, but otherwise, I recommend it to everyone. The atmosphere is so nice - hip, but not pretentious. Every server I've had here has been excellent. On the most recent trip, the power went out in the middle of supper - totally not their fault.... Went here on Wednesday for supper around 7-8:30, choose to go after checking out different options online. It is classed as a gastropub as it provides many tasty drinks and great meals and snacks. Food: They have a $10 surf and turf special on Wednesday where you get steak and prawns. My boyfriend ordered the surf and turf while I... More

I had the rib special, it was reasonably priced but the sauce had kind of a harsh, artificial flavour. My daughter had a chicken club that had a nicer flavour. It was fairly busy and service was slow but quite friendly.

Food was absolutely incredible, reasonably priced and huge portion sizes. Will definitely return to try more menu items. Staff are also friendly and efficient. Had the pork and mustard seed soup special because it sounded so weird/different but was a home run perhaps even the best soup ever. Also had the blackened chicken with coucous salad...chicken perfect, Israel couscous (the... More

Great atmosphere, although a little on noisy side. Great selection of beer and pub food. Be prepared to wait as this is a popular venue.

The name had me curious and I wasn't let down by way of atmosphere or food. Small pub, bar along one side and small tables stretching from front to back , tight feeling and dimly lit- as pubs are. But clean feeling and not claustrophobic. Attentive bar staff- I always sit at the bar or go elsewhere. Had a 5-minute... More

I previously lived in Saskatoon for 11 years and now come back regularly on business trips. Throughout all the burgers eaten in my time in Saskatoon I can't recall ever having such a delicious burger! No other way to describe it then amazing! I sat up at the bar for a late lunch and chatted with the bartender as well... More
