Fast and friendly service, yummy food and cocktails, and a funky but very casual atmosphere. The owner is a wonderful guy who is the icing on the cake to this overall wonderful place. My whole family, 2 years old to 62 years old, loved the experience. Try the mango rum milkshake and the jerky birdy!!

This small cafe has great fresh food and a unique atmosphere...The owner comes to every table to make sure you are enjoying yourself and to make suggestions, or try out a new dessert he's been working on.......the key lime pie is like no other, no matter how full you think you are,

Waited too long to try this place! Felt like being in a Jamaican restaurant minus the heat and humidity. Jerk chicken was delicious, a Canadian version but still very good. And yes, rice n peas is what Jamaicans call rice n kidney beans. 😀

This was the first time we ate here, I had the curry goat special and my wife had peanut shrimp. Both were excellent. The shrimp did surprise us as we were expecting shrimp with peanuts and it turns out its shrimp in a peanut butter sauce. They were very good though, never had anything like it. Finished off with a... More

What a great hole in the wall place. Excellent service and just awesome food. The location and appearance aren't anything to write home about. The food is why you go!!

Great little café with yummy food but not authentic. Jerk chicken is a boneless chicken breast??? No dumplings??? Jerk pork was a centre cut boneless pork chop......why, why, why? Another case of so close and so far............wish the kitchen would upgrade. Still worth a visit if you don't care and want a unique little place.

Can't imagine how anyone can improve on chicken fingers, but they've done it! You've got to try it. I've also had dinner here with friends and each of us got something that was very tasty...goat stew included. But you have to have the key lime pie. Yum! Service was a bit slow for our lunch but the server was very... More

During my travels I have found the best food is typically found in the little restaurants that leave a little to be desired in appearance, this restaurant is no different. I don't know of many other Caribbean restaurants in Saskatoon but if you have been to others in your travels as I have you will notice that some of the... More

We are going to Jamaica soon and thought we would sample some of the food. The Konga had good reviews, (makes me suspicious now), so we went. The waitress was warm and friendly, the surroundings cluttered and junky looking, but obviously part of the ambiance. The waitress brought us each a warm johnny cake which was good. The spicy peanut... More

Love it here! the food is delicious and the staff is absolutly out of the park fantastic! Soo many restaurants lose a personable connection but every time I come to Konga we always get a chance to talk to the owner. He's always walking around getting to know his customers and we certainly enjoy getting to know him! Absolutly do... More
