Busy place especially lunch time. Ordered the pho which was pretty tasteless. Soup was too clear to have been made with beef bones. Not taste any of the expected spices & herbs. Quite skimpy with the meat.

I really can't get enough of the food here. A group of us go here for lunch twice a month. Ask the server to request something spicier if that is what you want. It is basic in decor hence my atmosphere comment. My favorites are the noodle bowls. Took my teenager here and now he amd his pals are there... More

We have come here several times previously. They have an addictive sesame seed encrusted baked ball on display at the front bakery counter that we always order. This is what draws us back. The decor here is somewhat minimal. It is a simple diner, with simple food. The noodle bowls are generously portioned. The head cheese sub is very good,... More

I visited their restaurant 4 years ago and paid my second visit again today with the same satisfaction. In terms of food quality, they are really good. The restaurant is still full of people and I need to wait for 10 minutes in order to get a table. Typical setting of a mid-level Vietnamese Pho restaurant similar in Vancouver or... More

Even the tables are greasy. They have americanized (canadianized) their dishes to the point that I might as well by la choy in a can.

We've been going to this restaurant for probably years now, and have to say it's one of our favourite Vietnamese restaurants in town. Service in the "early years" was slow, but that's improved drastically, so no complaints there. Yes, the decor is dated, but we're not there for the scenery, we're there for the food... And the food is GOOD.... More

I've been having lunch at Ngac Van once a week for nearly 1.5 years. Overall, this the food is a great value. The wonton soup is the best in Regina. I think some of the other reviews are a bit unfair. I've never had a bad experience and certainly no food poisoning.

The service was exceptional, but that was the only thing that was great. The decorations were out dated. The chairs were not comfortable, and the chop sticks were dirty! The food was pretty bad, and it came to the table cold. I ordered a noodle dish, as did two of my friends. It was very bland, and did not taste... More

The reason people go to viet restaurants is the food. This place fails miserably in this department. I had the worst pho I have ever had here. I am almost certain the beef they used was roast beef luncheon meat. It was thin and tasteless. The broth was boring. Not flavorful, not many vegetables or daikons or anything like that.... More

Awsome food for very cheap! Get the BBQ pork buns they are great! They have lots of noodle/soup dishes that are great but the vietnamese vermichelli bowls are also delicious. My fave is the 3-meat one. Also their spring rolls (deep fried) are amazing! Don't be fooled by the dodgy area or low-key decor, it'll be worth it.
