To enjoy our last wedding anniversary, we choose the classy environment of the Hotel Saskatchewan's dining room. My wife, our daughter (who was 10 years of age) enjoyed some "civilized dining" -- the white table cloths, the linen serviettes and the elegant splendor of the ceilings and chandeliers... read more

Was staying at this hotel for a few days on business and had breakfast there a couple of times. The first one was a solo trip when I arrived and I had the eggs benedict. It was just ok. Not the worst eggs benny I have ever had, but definitely not the best. And definitely the most expensive I have... More

I hosted a business dinner here last week and the service and food were below par. It was embarrassing actually. There are a number of much better restaurants within a short walk, so I suggest you skip this eatery. The hotel itself is great, and the bar has excellent service.

Read in the newest "Best of" newspaper that this was the best fancy breakfast in Regina... hhhmmm.... really... Went for Sunday breakfast, seated by a pillar with worn out peeling wallpaper, prompty brought coffee and told to go to the buffet whenever we wanted. Fancy? Buffet? not really what we had in mind.... but no other interesting restaurant downtown Regina... More

The decor is awesome. Old hotel. The food was good. Had Sunday brunch after Church. It felt like a special occasion. I think it was 27 per person.

We attended the Christmas Day buffet dinner with friends. Now we know that it is difficult to prepare a buffet for a large crowd and especially on Christmas Day. We were seated upstairs in a large room with two sets of buffet tables in the centre. The service was less than attentive. It took a long time for someone to... More

A small group enjoyed the Cortland Dining room recently. All of the meals (NY steaks, duck, lasagna, amazing crab cakes for an appi), service and white linen table cloths and napkins etc. were first rate. The fresh baked bread and 'try' sent out courtesy of the chef helped to kick off a great meal, and the wine helped too. Would... More

do you like floral prints? doilies? dust? well, have they got the hotel for you! the rooms look like something prepared for the queen in 1922. the food is bland and grey, the service slow. the bathrooms are tiny typical of a building that appears to be approximately 700 years old. there are two temperatures available, very hot or cold.... The menu changes by season. depending what LOCAL and in season vegetables are available to them. It is great they use local produce. The menu is small but fantastic! It is a shame more people do not dine here. The hotel is an old classic, the servers are very knowledgeable and friendly. One may think they are a bit pricey but... More

The food service is very, very good. The staff and servers are first class. It is a beautiful building, well maintained, and home to members of the Royal Family when they are in the province. The daily smorgasbord is inventive and varied. Sunday smorgasbord is best in city. Love this place.
