We made a reservation for 8 adults and 2 toddlers for a special Sunday brunch to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious, hot, and huge variety. I loved the waffles with saskatoon berry sauce and whipped cream and my husband loved the custom made omelette. My toddler mostly enjoyed fruit, cheese and juice.... More

The restaurant is far better than expected, the atmosphere beckens memories of a time when Canada had close ties the United Kingdom. At the same time, the hotel completely reflects contemporary values, and the global society that we live in.

For all of the above needs, if you are one that likes that classical, upscale atmosphere, the Hotel Saskatchewan, with it's striking decor, from a gift shop, to a coffee lounge to separated dining facilities, that can give a somewhat private space for groups, to individuals. And for the single, first date, over coffee, why not Hotel Saskatchewan. For all... More

The food here is excellent, but the portions are extremely small. Don't expect to be full with just the entree. Make sure to order appetizers and side dishes as well.

Our family went to the Hotel Saskatchewan for their Sunday evening Prime Rib meal and we were very pleased that we did. We enjoyed a nice piece of prime rib, great potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding for $30 dollars, which we thought was excellent value. Service was very nice and the restaurant is quite well appointed.

I was SO impressed by the quality of cuisine at the Hotel Saskatchewan when I was there on business in September. Both breakfast and lunch were memorable. I enjoyed a lunch of perfectly grilled salmon filet with vegetables. The chef has skill! And the vintage elegance adds to the experience.

Went for lunch for the first time in a long time. Had the lunch Buffet. Good selection but the food was only adequate. The beef was pretty tough, the chicken cordon blue tasted somewhat burned and the salad dressing were no where near the salad. The desserts were good. The server was OK but got the bill wrong (undercharged us)... More

I've had bad service at the bar at the Hotel Sask one too many times. The food is mediocre at best and the service sucks but the location is handy and the decor is nice. This week I ordered the Lamb Sliders with a side salad and my salad had dirt in it. The big accommodation for this? They took... More

Just went for lunch with some clients and had the lunch buffet. Wonderful and reasonably priced. Looked at the lunch menu as well and good offerings with good prices. Don't overlook the Hotel Sask for lunch or evening out. They are more than just banquets, weddings, etc. Atmosphere is very relaxing. A refreshing change from the common noisy restaurants so... More
