When looking for that something special place for that someone special, to treat yourself, for a business meeting, the Sask won't let you down. The lunch buffet, is pricey by most standards. But, you will be rewarded by choices of tasty varieties of tomatoes to go with a similar myriad of choices of delicate fresh vegetables for you salad, a... More

This was my first culinary experience at the Hotel Saskatchewan. We made reservations for Saturday at 2:30 pm but we're surprised to learn that the hotel serves high tea year-round on Thursday and Friday also. For $28 there is a lovely selection of sandwiches/canapés, scones, and dainties, plus your choice of various loose teas infused in your own personal teapot.... More

The title says it all. Attended a Saturday Brunch for my niece's birthday. About the best words to sum it up is ugh. The desserts were great. There were cheeses/pickles and few fresh fruits. White buns only for bread. The hot dishes were soggy bacon, sausages, a dry vegetable dish (lots of broccoli), then there was a fish dish (which... More

We made a reservation for 8 adults and 2 toddlers for a special Sunday brunch to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious, hot, and huge variety. I loved the waffles with saskatoon berry sauce and whipped cream and my husband loved the custom made omelette. My toddler mostly enjoyed fruit, cheese and juice.... More

The restaurant is far better than expected, the atmosphere beckens memories of a time when Canada had close ties the United Kingdom. At the same time, the hotel completely reflects contemporary values, and the global society that we live in.

For all of the above needs, if you are one that likes that classical, upscale atmosphere, the Hotel Saskatchewan, with it's striking decor, from a gift shop, to a coffee lounge to separated dining facilities, that can give a somewhat private space for groups, to individuals. And for the single, first date, over coffee, why not Hotel Saskatchewan. For all... More

The food here is excellent, but the portions are extremely small. Don't expect to be full with just the entree. Make sure to order appetizers and side dishes as well.

Our family went to the Hotel Saskatchewan for their Sunday evening Prime Rib meal and we were very pleased that we did. We enjoyed a nice piece of prime rib, great potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding for $30 dollars, which we thought was excellent value. Service was very nice and the restaurant is quite well appointed.
