High quality chef creations

I have been going here for the past few years as our go to place for a nice celebration meal. I like how the menu changes based on fresh ingredients. There always seems to be a braised lamb shank on the menu that I cannot resist but everything I have seen and eaten has been very high quality... read more

I joined a friend for a Christmas celebration and we enjoyed the Monday night tapas/sampler menu. The courses were wonderful with a poultry theme....from chicken wings, duck risotto, chicken pot pie, to paella...it was fabulous. The portions were just right. The flavours were amazing with just enough time between each course to savour the tasty morsels, enjoy some great wine... More

Had many good lunches here but went for the first time in the evening. Menu was well thought out and I can recommend the Tapas appetizer sharing for two. For our main course we selected lamb shank and salmon with a crab topping, both meals were well presented and very tasty. We received a friendly welcome and service was excellent.

I took my wife here for our fifth wedding anniversary at her request. We have been here before and have always had a good meal, it is just that we forget and do not come as often as maybe we should. The service is quiet and friendly and there was a new menu the night we went. We started with... More

I thought the food was great, however the service was just okay. I've often gone there just for appetisers and drinks with friends and have particularly enjoyed this. I would not classify this as fine dining, closer to casual.

Not bad food, but not spectacular either. I wasn't disappointed with the meal, just not as impressed as I hoped that I would be. I really wanted to love this place... The ambience is nice, but the service was overwhelmed by the large party, which I can deal with. An average experience, but unfortunately I don't expect to be back.

We had an amazing meal in a city known for its love of fast food. The chef Martin Snow would be famous in great food cities and in Regina I see one reviewer complaining about portion sizes. Everything we ate was unique and it all worked. My halibut was fresh and perfectly cooked. The service was great and we thoroughly... More

My family and I went out for dinner on Tuesday and we all raved about the wonderful dinner and time we had at the Bistro. We have been there many times and it is always a great place to eat and I am only sorry I have not written sooner to let others know what fantastic food they truly put... More

Have been here many times because my wife likes it and the small portions are ample for her. Generally the food is good but servings are small. I would recommend not having the wonton soup. It is the most flavourless soup I have ever tasted- really not good. Don't know why they don't try to improve the recipe because it... More

Just ate here with some good friends, who consider this this fav spot in the city, and we were NOT disappointed! From the varied tapas to the Solomon special, creme brûlée to the fine coffee, everything was finely presented, and thoughtfully prepared. We will certainly visit again, and not shy to highly recommend! Very impressed! Thank you.
