Interesting atmosphere...average food...

We had a staff function at this restaurant. After reviewing the menu online I had high hopes for the food. I ordered the pork entree. I asked the server what cut of pork was being prepared and he said 'the boneless kind'. When my food arrived the steamed vegetables were still crunchy. The... read more

My family recently moved into the neighbourhood and the Fireside Bistro was one of the few places we tried out for lunch and dinner till our kitchen was set up. I loved it and we continue to visit them once a month.

The menu at Fireside Bistro is superb. I love the side orders they serve. Dishes like the pork, lemon pepper boneless wings are my absolute fave. Lovely place altogether.

My family loves to try out new restaurants every month and Fireside Bistro was our choice for this month. We absolutely loved the atmosphere and the charming little space they have created.

On New Years Eve, we had a reservation for 9pm. We knew going anywhere even with a reservation there would probably be a wait. We arrived at this establishment shortly before 9pm. We waited in your lobby for approx 15 minutes then given a table in your heated “waiting area”. We waited 15 minutes to be asked if we wanted... More

We went for brunch as a group and I ordered a coffee to start. I was brought tepid, weak tea looking stuff that tasted like it had been strained through a used gym sock. When I asked for a different cup, explaining that it was weak (I assumed who ever made it just messed up it was so bad) she... More

The restaurant was supposed to be a bit upscale I'm guessing but I was not thoroughly impressed with the food. It was your basic standard food, average flavour.

This restaurant resides in an old house in a very cool neighbourhood. The floors creak, lots of old wood, the lounge is cozy and warm, the deck is amazing in the summer and on a beautiful fall evening. The staff are friendly and take time to chat. The food is delicious, Try their coconut shrimp and for sharing with a... More

I particularly love going to the Bistro after a cultural event .... a Play or Performance at the Conexus Art Centre ..... a warm fire, delicious bread and lovely meal.

Had never heard of this quaint restaurant on Smith Street until our daughter moved to Pilot Butte this summer and a co-worker told her to try it. Our first vist was this fall when the patio was still open for brunch and then went again for a supper meal a week ago. Breakfast/brunch menu is amazing - so much to... More
