We found most of the food in Tadoussac touristy. This means over priced and not that great. Retaurant le Bateau was an exception. The buffet was quite good and reasonably priced. A nice surprise.

Relatively inexpensive, OK selection of "Quebec" dishes (including pizza and spaghetti), fast, and convenient. Those are the positive attributes associated with Restaurant Le Bateau. But the quality and taste of the food are mediocre at best. It's an OK place if you don't want to spend much money for one of your vacation dinners. But don't expect to have a... More

Our B & B recommended this restaurant. We chose to try the buffet lunch for around 12$. That was a good value, though I think I would just go for the soup and salad bar. Cheaper and a better bet. They offer the same food everyday. At night they up the price and throw in a little seafood in the... More

Nice view from the patio. Staff was friendly and did their best to meet us halfway with the language barrier. Food was fine, nothing extraordinary but a nice chance to sample some everday Quebecois staples. Blueberry pie was nice. Good for a hungry traveller, but fastidious foodies should probably look elsewhere.

Tadoussac is not a culinary paradise, particularly after having passed the previous few days in Quebec City; however, and contradicting several earlier reviews, I think this restaurant plumps new depths of what is politely called 'buffet dining'. Our B&B host suggested it as a family oriented place where kids could eat cheaply (though adults paid $21 each). It would have... More

This was a very regular and small buffet, I was disappointed for the $14.50 they charge. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. The view was very nice. The girl serving us was friendly.

Nice view, decent food. Traditional and common Quebec fare. The stuff I at every Holiday dinner. No frills on the prices. Best sugar cream pie (tarte au sucre) I've even eaten. Soup was good desserts were excellent Kiche, pizza, tourtiere and beef stew

This restaurant offers a French Canadian cuisine buffet, with good choices at a reasonable cost. The split-pea soup is delicious, as is the Saguenay Tortiere. Pies for desert, and if you have never tasted viniger pie, you just have to try it. You're in for a pleasant surprise. Service is very good, view of town and Saguenay Fjord.
