Nice view from the patio. Staff was friendly and did their best to meet us halfway with the language barrier. Food was fine, nothing extraordinary but a nice chance to sample some everday Quebecois staples. Blueberry pie was nice. Good for a hungry traveller, but fastidious foodies should probably look elsewhere.

Tadoussac is not a culinary paradise, particularly after having passed the previous few days in Quebec City; however, and contradicting several earlier reviews, I think this restaurant plumps new depths of what is politely called 'buffet dining'. Our B&B host suggested it as a family oriented place where kids could eat cheaply (though adults paid $21 each). It would have... More

This was a very regular and small buffet, I was disappointed for the $14.50 they charge. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. The view was very nice. The girl serving us was friendly.

Nice view, decent food. Traditional and common Quebec fare. The stuff I at every Holiday dinner. No frills on the prices. Best sugar cream pie (tarte au sucre) I've even eaten. Soup was good desserts were excellent Kiche, pizza, tourtiere and beef stew

This restaurant offers a French Canadian cuisine buffet, with good choices at a reasonable cost. The split-pea soup is delicious, as is the Saguenay Tortiere. Pies for desert, and if you have never tasted viniger pie, you just have to try it. You're in for a pleasant surprise. Service is very good, view of town and Saguenay Fjord.

We really liked the emphasis on quebecois food here, and with it being all you can eat we were able to try a bit of everything. Qualty was fairly good, it was a heavy meal so warranted a bit of a walk around the town afterwards. Great view of the St Lawrence from the large windows. We were able to... More

The formula "all-you-can-eat" could be attractive and it is peculiar of this place, where you cannot order your dinner à la carte, however, if you are really starving, you could even satisfy your insticts but not your good taste. This food is made to replenish stomachs at low cost but that's all.

I am sorry I ddn't read the other reviews for this restaurant but we were all tired and other people were eating here and it was close. For $18 buffet it was barely edible. Imagine the most inexpensive food one could serve, sitting for serveral hours. It did have a wonderful view.

After our cruise we looked around near our hotel for a place to eat. Thankfully we found Le Bateau right at the top of the hill on our way back. The buffet is all home cooked food, with plenty of choices that satisfied our two little girls
