Dinner Buffet

I did not stay at Hotel Tadoussac but ate dinner one evening whilst in town. Even though I didn't have a reservation a table was located by the maitre'd and her staff. The dining room staff were very efficient also during the meal. The buffet was ok but certainly not exceptional. I was... read more

The breakfast was yucky, nothing tasted fresh, yet they charge $20 a person. And sneaky, the price is not posted anywhere but you go because it is the only breakfast in your hotel and then at the end you get the shock. Dinner is all fancy dishes but not particularly well executed. Not a hamburger in sight. Worst pasta I... More

Staying at the hotel for just one night we took dinner here and then breakfast the following morning. Breakfast buffet was fine - no complaints - the standard fare and it seemed fresh and was plentiful. Dinner was actually very enjoyable but seemed quite pricey overall. The lack of people in the restaurant gave the place a slightly dead feel... More

The buffet breakfast is an additional charge, and is not great value. Coffee was good, and hot but we had to ask twice for it and again for a refill. Minor complaint but this hotel wants you to believe it is better than this.

We enjoyed breakfast here last week before going whale watching. It was great! Variety was good with bacon, sausage, ham, fried potatoes, baked beans (traditional in Canada), bread pudding, pancakes, fruits, cheeses, pates, breads, and omelet station. The omelet station is able to do over easy eggs, too. Service was good, not terribly friendly, but no complaints. Every dish was... More

Good food beautifully presented in a lovely spot. Expensive for the area. Service fine. Lovely spot and room. No one at at the adjacent super $$$$$ Le William. Breakfasts fine, get whale package for discount.

We ordered our food, ate all of the bread, had wine and an hour and a half later we got cold entrees. We were not offered a free drink or even more bread. The restaurant was not busy at all. We noticed other diners refuse their food as well. We are not snobby or pretentious. We just expect food to... More

It is really convenient when staying at the Hotel Tadoussac to sometimes eat breakfast or dinner at the hotel. Most guests who do seem to use the buffet but you can order separately from the dinner menu. The breakfast buffet is plentiful with a large variety of food including lots of fruit and you can get eggs cooked to order... More

Everything tasted the same, completely overpriced and por wine list. More suited for buffet style fans that want a lot of stuff on the plate, but don't care about quality. Menu a la carte extremely expensive, small portions and bad quality

The breakfast buffet, while a little expensive, had a great selection of Canadian food. There were both cold and hot selections, and some pastries. The timing was great, as we were able to charge it to the room and head to our whale watching tour :).
